OOC: Long but necessary post
Bel Bel
I laughed as he raced me out of his own lands. Of course for that bit, he was able to lead, I did not know my way around there yet.
Now however as I swung into the Snowy River Forest, I knwe that speed was not the key to getting around though it was a good thing to have when men came.
As I cantered along, I sighed with pleasure. This was my home the place I had been born and the place of many springs spent. Now as I moved, I enjoyed myself.
When we reacehd a wide open plain I looked out, still hidden, to ensure no one was there. No one was so I continued on, that was until I hears the bird.
I stopped where I was and darted back towards the trees, stopping in indisision. I did not have to hide, The Brolga could come.
He'd certainly be alarmed to meet this horse, I knew it.
The Brolga
I graised with my herd, completely relaxed. That was until that annoying Currawong turned up. "what?" I snorted in annoyance.
"Bel bel has returned and she's brought a stranger, glorious sire," the bird cackled.
I reared and screamed in annoyance flinging the bird off.
"Where!" I asked.
"Over on Snowy Ridge, sire."
"Find them and lead the way Currawong, that horse has no idea just who I am."
I reared again and screamed my challenge to the mountains.
Thowra
I snorted as I heard the call. It was The Brolga but his challenge was not to me, but to a stranger on one of the ridges. I wondered who, but I had my own mares now to keep an eye on.
I would wait and see if it was my motehr's return that had angered the Brolga. We'd hear it soon enough.

Sundara I led the way for a while as I knew the way for part of it, but let Bel Bel take the lead when I was somewhere new. I ran next to her, looking out for this Brogla incase he decided to try something. I heard a challenging call but ingored it for now, I would not fight him unless he came to me. OOC: write us much as you like, I don't mind!

OOC: I will, at times
Bel Bel
I was on edge now that I heard the call ring out, like it had for the last withree springs. "Thats the Brolga's call. If he does fight you, do notkill him alright? My son wants to do that." I was wary of the sky now and I knew it would not be long before the grey came.
The Brolga I galloped along, following the Currawong, eager for a fight soon it did not take long for us to find them, the bird had its advantages. "How dare you enter my territory, stranger!" I snarled.
Ah good, Bel Bel was here too! A reason for a fight it would seem.
Bel Bel
I gulped and stopped where I was as the huge Iron grey stallion came into sight. He was about 19 hands tall, a brute. Slowly I backed away from him, letting Sundara be in front.

Sundara "Don't worry my dear, I won't kill him, but might make him sore of a while" I said and laughed. I saw the 19hh steel-grey shape come flying around a corner and laughed again. This would be fun. "Hello there sir, can you move out of our way please" I decided to start nice and get mean later. I looked up and down his 19hh body, we where the same height.

I felt tiny in comparison to the two huge stag's. I was glad he would not kill The Brolga.
"No, you are not goign any further in my land. NOr are you to keep Bel bel. I won her from Yarraman, when I killed him!" The Brolga sneered.
I shuddered. There was a reason I ran from this ugly stag who refused anyone any personal space. "You know I would never join you y choice," I snarled back. "Murderer!"
The Brolga laughed, mickingly. 'You would ahve with the rest of his rubbish herd. it was you I wanted, none of the others. Especially not your foolish, stupid, pathetic son."
I glowered at him. There was nothing words could say about how he'd insulted my son. My son was no coward.

"No, you are not going any further in my land. Nor are you to keep Bel bel. I won her from Yarraman, when I killed him!" The large steel-grey stag said. "Bel Bel left you, she chose me. She. Is. Mine" I snarled back at him. "If her son is so weak and pathic, how is it her still lives and runs in HIS land" I said "How dare you insult her so" I said and reared, charging him head on.

I snorted and dodged as The Brolga leapt at Sundara, stopping him dead. As I watched, it was obvious that though The Brolga was a cunning horse, Sundara was the one with some skill in fighting.
"He is alive because he is hiding like a coward," laughed the Brolga.
I screamed at him in protest, when he came near I bit him on the hidquarters.
Thowra
I heard the screams of the horses. One the Brolga, the second unknown and the third, Bel bel. "Boon Boon?" I called, looking to the grey mare, undisputedly my Queen.

Sundara I dodged his attack and kicked him in the head, not hard enough to kill but enough to hurt him. "Move back Bel Bel" I said rearing again. Boon Boon I was listening to the screams and cries of horses in the distance when I heard Thowra call to me. I trotted over to him "Yes dear?" I questioned him, wondering what he wanted.

Bel bel
I tossed my head and retreated a little way into the trees, watching still. I was furious witht he Brolga and wished i was a stag, I would ahve hrt him so badly.
Thowra
"A few of those screams are very familiar. Keep an eye on the herd, I'm going to go find out what's going on. The Brolga is involved. i have more of a chance of eluding him by myself. My mother is there too." I shuddered, "I've never heard her scream like that, she must be insulted by someone tehre." I tossed my head.

Sundara I saw in the corner of my eye Bel Bel walk into the trees, still in sight but out of harms way. The Brolga and I circled, I never let him circle the whole way though, I would not let him near Bel Bel. I charged him again, and reared kicking him in the chest. I had promised not to kill, but hurting was not the same as killing. "Ready to give in yet?" I sneered at him.
Boon Boon "Of course my dear" I said and nuzzled his neck "Stay safe" I murmered to him, wishing he did not have to go but knew he must.

Thowra "Always." I touched her nose. I cantered off, the Brolga would not care about me right now. It did not take em long to see the old cream mare standing off to the side in the trees. "Bel Bel?" I asked softly, approaching her.
Bel bel
I turned my head a little way and snorted. "Thowra." My attention was on the two stallions.
Soon the Brolga broke away from the fight, snorting. "We'll meet again," he said darkly, spotting Thowra.
'Run!" I said.
Thowra did not, this time he screamed at The Brolga. "Your time is over, Brolga!"
I hurried towards Sundara.

Sundara I was rearing when the Brogla stopped his attack. I landed heavily still watching him, making sure he was not playing any tricks, when I saw why he had stopped. Thowra was here, or who I guessed to be Thowra as he looked so much like Bel Bel. 'Run!" Bel Bel screamed at him. But Thowra did not listen. Instead he screamed at The Brolga. "Your time is over, Brolga!" Bel Bel hurried to my side and nuzzled her with my sweaty muzzle. "Are you ok my dear?" I asked "Move back into the trees, he may wish for my help" I said and headed towards the to stags who where facing each other. OOC: soz its so long!!

Thowra
The Brolga sneered at me. "You think you can defeat me?"
"I dont think it, I know I can!" I declared. I looked back at my mother. "Can you go find my herd? They're in Narrow Neck Valley. Talk to the grey mare, Boon Boon, tell her I sent you."
Bel Bel
"Will you stay here, Sundara? The only stag who wants me ehre is right in front of you, I won't have any trouble."

"I think I shall" I said and looked at Thorwa "Want some help?" I asked and watched the Brogla's every, single move.

Bel Bel
I laughed and then cantered off. I would not be too far away and not for too long either. Certainly i would return to Sundara.
Thowra
"Maybe," I repleid to the unknown stag. "So will you fight me or not, Brolga?"
The Brolga laughed. His response was to attack me. I leapt aside as the fight began.
