Really? Crepusculum asked herself. It was obvious that Dakota was just bluffing, not really planning to attack her. The she-wolf looked condescendingly down to the ebony wolf and sighed. Was this really the best she could do? If it was, the so called queen was much weaker than Crep had expected. This would be the easiest feat yet to her. She laughed, looking to the eldest suddenly. Would the three males here fight for heart? She hoped so. That was the most interesting thing to watch.
The female dug her claws into the earth again, bored already with where this was going. Dakota was boring her. "Who might you be?" she asked staring at the golden eyed ivory male. The males, she would not challenge, for she had finally accepted the fact that she was naturally 'ranked' below them. Cursed with my own body. A leader stuck with this she thought, shaking her head before laying down by a rock, waiting for them to say something.
"And you," she said, looking again to the eldest, the supposed leader. That was how it was supposed to work, right? The oldest one was supposed to be the wisest, and there were other things she knew about being in a pack that she didn't care about either. She shook her fur, sending a couple leaves that were hidden in her coat flying into the air. The traveling life hadn't done well to her. It had built character and defense though, and she couldn't ask for anything more than that.

Dakota shook her black pelt and stood, her tail held high with confidence. Though she was smaller and knew that the black and white female could most likely beat her, Dakota did not care, as usual. She turned and walked away from them, her back to the newcomer, showing she feared nothing. It was unusual indeed, for a female her size to be so...arrogant.
Gematria turned his orange gaze to Crep. "I am Gematria," he said simply, a relaxed expression on his ivory face. The male yawned briefly, licking his lips in thought. Perhaps he should have gone hunting this morning. It was dark out now, and he would not blend very well. Of course, he never blended well anyways due to his pure coat. With the light dusting of snow, however, he could quite possibly get away with a snack.
The black male looked at Crep with his wise yellow-green eyes. "I am Fell. It is a pleasure," Though he did not know if it was truly a pleasure or not to be meeting this female, it was always nice to have others around, fresh faces, to keep things interesting. His eyes trailed after Dakota, watching her agitated gait with humor dancing in his eyes. He could tell she was quite put-off by the new female, though he figured they would get along eventually.

Sulfur had taken no notice of the newcomer. He had already taken the life of a young gazelle, leaving its mother with a few wounds to think about. He licked his lips as he dragged the bloody carcass towards them. He dropped it beside Fell and turned to stare at the newcomer. He turned away from her and lay down on his own.
His golden eyes stared out back at the gazelle, wondering whether or not he should go after the mother. He closed his eyes, allowing his energy to return. He turned to look around at the male, deciding whether he should say something, but he just listened, his gaze turning to Dakota.

Crep nodded, noting their names in her head. Gematria, Fell she thought, silently memorizing them. Knowing who you had to live with every day would make her life slightly easier. Lions and Cheetahs had to live here, but it didn't look like they were any problem to the large wolf pack. Wolfishly, she smiled, knowing if they did attack, they would be a challenge. "It is a pleasure," she responded to Fell's words, nodding her cranium easily. Crepusculum licked her dry lips as she saw the other ebony wolf carrying back a small gazelle.
It sent a rumbling throughout her sides and stomach, telling her it had been far too long since a decent feeding. Quickly, she would show off, show off her speed and stamina. She crouched to the ground, her multicolored coat blending in perfectly with the yellowed grass and rocks. They wouldn't even know what she was! Crep spotted the gazelle mother, much bigger and more dangerous than the little one. Still, it was below her, for it thrived not on flesh. She took off, darting up next to it and taking it down easily. She bit its neck, and she knew she had made her kill.
Crepusculum dragged it back, not even working, a triumphant look plastered upon her fair features. She smiled to them, taking the first bite of success. She'd surely be an asset for pack hunts. On her own, she wouldn't be able to catch large prey. When it came to feeding, she found she was eating before Dakota. What would she do?

Gematria grumbled a bit, a deep throaty grumble as Sulfur returned with a young gazelle. He was hungry, yes, but he did not want to hunt at this precise moment. He was trying to decide whether this female was to be trusted or not. Of course he knew she shouldn't be trusted, but he almost wanted to trust her. His orange gaze stayed on Crepusculum as the she-wolf took down the injured gazelle. He snorted. Show-offs were definitely not wolves that he preferred to dine with. She did not have anything to prove here. As Crep began to eat, he almost growled. Though he held an interest in her, Crep was being daringly rude by eating before the dwellers of this land. His eyes turned to Dakota, who was walking in the opposite direction.
Dakota knew she had to calm her self. Her anger was getting the better of her this time, as usual of course. Crepusculum was much larger than her and even though Dakota knew she should be at least slightly intimidated, she was not. The newcomer couldn't do too much harm, for Dakota was raised by a fighting family, but she did not want to risk an injury of any sort having just claimed this land. It would be best to avoid the situation for now. At the scent of another fresh kill, her eyes went to Sulfur, silently begging him to support her in this situation. It took all of her strength not to curl her lips and turn to snap at the multi-colored female. Instead, she let out a quiet snarl and stopped walking. Her eyes were still on Sulfur, but the warning was clear to Crepusculum: eat and you shall be removed. Not only was it disrespectful to Dakota, but to the others here as well, and Crep would be wise to offer the kill to share among the others.
The old male could feel the tension thicken in an instant when Crepusculum returned with her kill. It angered him, as well, that she was eating before them while she was the newest member of the lands. His yellow-green eyes turned to the female almost accusingly, though he did not speak. He was giving her a choice at this point. Though Fell was not one to attack, he knew Gematria and Dakota both were. This situation could have been avoided had Dakota been out of the area on her own hunting trip before the new female returned. He sighed in exasperation. Why did females always have to cause trouble? They were nothing but trouble.

Crep quickly tore the skin open from the gazelle, picking the fur off little by little. A growl rumbled from her chest as Dakota growled at her. The multicolored female knew that she wouldn't attack; she would contain herself and leave. He can't do anything for you she thought, smirking darkly. Crepusculum took one bite of the large gazelle, digging in with her blood stained lips. She dared them to come over, for all hell would break out if they did.
She shook her head, looking to the two males who were not growling nor attacking her. Crep's delicate, powerful head was tilted, wondering why. Obviously, she was harassing them, demeaning them. Were they more mentally sound than she had previously believed. It was the truth that she would give them some, after she ate all the valuables that usually only the alpha was allowed to have. She snacked on them, her eyes glaring over to them every few seconds. "Eat the muscle if you please," she panted, flicking her colorful tail.
After taking all the good parts of the kill, she walked away, her ears perked upright, listening to all the had to say. Dragging it, she dropped it before Gematria, her tail wagging a couple times before it lay limp, in its tense state as it usually did. She stood and howled, howled to any female who thought they were greater than her. It was directly aimed at Dakota.

Fell flinched as Crepusculum howled. His yellow-green eyes shot to Dakota, wondering what her reaction would be. He knew she was raised to battle, bred to fight by all means. He had never seen her in action personally and would be quite surprised if she could hold her own against the other female who inherantly towered over her. Then again, Crep did not know Fell's past, either. He had been the Alpha of a once great and strong pack, the Silver Mist pack. They had fallen ill to a virus and had disbanded, only to meet again a year later. A power-hungry male had come and overthrown the king, nearly fatally injuring him. And yet Fell had come back, despite his injury and his age, and defeated the dictator and became the Alpha of his pack again. Fell was incredibly strong despite his exterior, and wise, and he would help his friend in any way he could.
As Crep dropped the remains of the kill before Gematria, the white male did not know whether to be pleased or infuriated. It was rather comforting that she had chosen to share with him but at the same time, she had only left him the scraps. He did not know whether to accept it or turn his nose up at her. But as she howled, he did not have to do either, because an enraged snarl erupted from Dakota's mouth, her teeth fully bared, ears flat against her skull. Her blue eye glinted almost maniacally in the darkening light as she glared at Crepusculum. Stupid bitch, Dakota thought. It was just like a female to think she could just waltz in and take what she wanted. Dakota knew their sizes were different but she had confidence in the brutal training and beatings her father had put her through since she could walk. Her blind eye was a trophy from her past, as were the scars that ran beneath her coat. She feared nothing.
"You dare come in to my lands, eat my food, and then declare your mightiness in my presence? You are nothing more than a foolish bitch, just like all the rest!" she snarled, her voicing hissing viciously. Fell stared at the smaller female in wonder. Her anger seemed to have made her double in size to him, though it was metaphorically speaking.

Crepusculum watched the simple, easy to figure out female come up to her. She was just bluffing, again. This time, her body language had changed to ferocious, to a will to fight. The multicolored she wolf snarled and laid her harks back as she stepped closer, the fur ruffling up on the back of her neck. Her fluffy tail stood out straight as she chuckled below her breath. "Dakota...." she rasped, moving around her easily. "My friend, you really thought you could win?" she said, laughing as if she'd just told her the funniest joke in the world.
Suddenly, with her ivories bared, protruding and ready, she moved so quickly that none would guess her neck move. Her nose was directly under Dakota's chin, getting ready to bite it, rip her apart. "Don't try anything....or you'll regret it," she whispered, so that only the ebony female could hear her threats. The other black would do nothing about her, nor would the other two, she hoped. She rippled her muscles, that stood out under her thin layer of skin and fur.
Crep backed away, lowly growling to her. That would teach her a lesson. Bitch she thought, flicking her tail again. Maybe she added in her mind, smiling. It wouldn't be the first time someone had called her that. Didn't really bother her since she'd been hearing it for a while. "Foolish? I think you're saying this to protect your own weakness. You know you'll die if you fight me," she said, her mouth drawing back into a face of disgust.

Sulfur snarled. How dare she catch and kill the gazelle, that had already been marked with his teeth. How dare she act like she was the most important wolf in the world. How dare her..! His whole body was shaking with anger, his golden eyes fixed on the she-wolf. He didn't care if she was bigger than him or anything, it was who won that mattered.

After dropping the carcass for the ivory male with golden eyes to chow on, she picked her own spot under a shady tree. The grass was quite comfortable here, but the heat wasn't so nice. It was spring here too, so it hadn't quite gotten to the hottest part of the year. Looks like I'm pissing off her mate too she thought, rolling her eyes at them. Whatever she thought, getting up again, walking over to him. "What's your problem?" she asked, uninterested. "You're not the one I want to overtake," she said lightly, yawning as she walked away again, playing with a large desert rat she had recently found and caught.
Crepusculum's eyes looked back to him. "Who are you anyways?" she asked, wondering if he was actually her mate or the ruler of the land. It didn't really matter what he was in the pack. Any mate of Dakota's was below her in her mind, but not in the least would she show it. Her large, sharp harks stayed listening in front and behind her as well as to the sides. Who knew what they might be planning? These types were always so devious. They would never take her down though. Only would she leave on her free will, but that wouldn't be for a while.

Sulfur relaxed as she moved away from Dakota. "I had already claimed that gazelle as mine to kill. You stole, I don't take kindly.. To thieves." He lowered himself to the ground, staring at Crep. His body was still tense, a chill ran down his back which made him move his position. He said nothing more than gave her a annoyed expression. "Why would I want to have a conversation with a thief anyway?" He turned his head away, saying nothing more.

Crepusculum laughed to herself. Stole it? What are we, pups? she asked herself, discarding his thoughts immediately. "I don't consider it yours until it's laying on the ground with your teeth sunk into its neck," she said, knowing she was toying with him. Rather than wanting to fight, she was intrigued by this and enjoyed it greatly. Good, he's annoyed. That's right where I want him she snickered, her own form relaxed significantly more than his. It was too bad that they had neither intelligence nor size on their side. It was such a shame.
"Fine," she muttered. "Share the left overs with Gematria if you wish to take from him," she said, waiting for him to fall into his own trap. "But, that would be stealing, correct?" she laughed, beginning to get bored with Sulfur already. He seemed to tense up even more when she went closer to Dakota, so she did, standing right before her. Oh, Crep knew how uncomfortable Dakota got when she was so close, but Crepusculum honestly didn't care about that wannabe queen.

"Why would I want it now..? It has been tainted by you. A she-wolf that just waltz in and expects everyone to follow your command. Well, we all know what you are then. Vain, self-absorbed, unimportant." He said, not even looking at her. Let her think what she wished, but what he just said.. Was fact.

Dakota stood tensely as Crep stepped up to her. Her entire body was shaking but she did not move a muscle. She would not fall in to the stupid female's trap. Dakota was not one to bluff, and she thought it was funny that Crepusculum seemed to think she was bluffing. At the female's threat, Dakota snarled, her teeth bared as Crep stepped away. Wouldn't that make her the one who was bluffing. As Sulfur and Crep seemed to get in to it, Dakota only grew angrier. These were her lands and she was not going to sit back and let this stupid bitch take them from her.
Dakota stood as tall as she could, her teeth bared, no sign of being uncomfortable on her features, as Crepusculum approached her again. "Listen, bitch, and listen really close. Get the fuck out of my lands, before I have to escort you in tiny pieces."
