The stag the color of night soared in the sky, looking over the beautiful valley. To his surprise, there was a land, so beautiful that he had to come down and look. Fantasma swooped down, to see the glorious land that still belonged to another. It was so lush...and beautiful. It was an eden to him, the most glorious. The new king galloped once he landed onto the lands. It was easy access to him, for he could fly to any place he pleased.
Still, he had no mares even though he had been within this human free countryside. Soon, he would though. He had nearly forgotten to steak his claim. Fantasma reared, a shriek of claiming echoing through the lands he loved already as his daggers pounded the ground. How lovely he thought.
I would eat and drink, but the former king may come for a challenge he thought, still wary. Fantasma would try his best in the fight if he dared to come and fight him. He sighed as the sweet breeze blew into his nostrils. The rich, rich grass was just too tempting, and the water here seemed to be crystal clear. There was no better place on earth to him.
OOC: I believe it's up for claim now because there wasn't a post since June 22nd.

Stars-Sam I snarled as I caught the scent of an intruder in Cadifor's lands. The hellion blood in me coursed through me, illuminating my mane and tail with flames and my eyes glowed red.
I moved with a swift grace through the trees to stop in front of her.
"What is your reason for being here, fae?" I asked, calming the flames that ran on my neck.

OOC: Fantasma is a stallion.
BIC:
Fantasma watched as the other stag galloped up to him. Was this the king? No thought the Alicorn stallion. Fantasma watched as he spoke, obviously angry. There was nothing he could do though...nothing at all. Rightfully, this was his for the taking in his opinion. "I have come to take this land as my own," he said. "My calling is Fantasma," he said, giving the other his name.

“Cadifor will come soon. I know he may allow you to sub-herd here, as he does me, for I am his Beta, Stars-Sam, but he will not renounce his leadership of his land willingly.”
I snorted. “Then again, I could be wrong and he may give it to you, Fantasma.”
There was no way he was going any further into the land at the moment. Not until Cadifor sorted out this little issue about who was the king of the land right now.

Fantasma nodded, not wanting to provoke anyone in particular. All he had come here to do was take a land for his own. The determination of the Alicorn stallion was evident, and if he had to wander for years, he would find a land where he would be the ruler of all. No, Fantasma would not fight this stag who did not own the land
The ebony stag hoped that Cadifor would give it to him, but it was a rare occasion when a stallion gave a land up for a younger one. Of course, Fantasma would allow the former king to inhabit the territory. He would not, at all be the leader though. If it was a fight that needed to be, it would be.

Kanchana entered the lands, her red mane fluttering behind her as she trotted neatly towards the raised voices. It seemed someone was trying to take her kings land. "Stars," her voice came as a sharp shrill and she nipped the hellion stallion with a firm warming. "Greetings stallion," she greeted the ebony stag, taking note the peaceful feel of the overall calm stag. "I am Kanchana, queen of this land," she said, her soft orbs flickering around to study her home.
A sudden little shape flung herself from the trees. "Omeya," Kanchana greeted her daughter, nuzzling the young yearling. She was almost ready to leave home, her legs now fit her graceful being and her tail was no longer the piece of fluff. The queen noticed the way her daughter eyed the stallion before her and a quiet sigh exscaped her lips. Maybe the stallion would take her daughter a let them be...but only of course if Omeya wished to and the stag had a kind heart.
OOC: I have an idea....lets just see how this goes first XD is that okay with you Phantom?

The ebony stag smiled to the queen as she came to see him. "Greetings, Kanchana," he said warmly. Most would not respect the queen of the land when they wanted to rule over it, but he surely would. A small bow he did to her. "To you too, Omeya," he said with a smile. Fantasma watched as the filly watched him. Beautiful she was and young.
"Kanchana, as you probably know, I would like these lands as mine. If this did come to be, you and Cadifor would be second in command," he said, explaining that he would not kick the royals out when they had lived there so long. His warming blue orbs watched them, looking at any sign of hatred toward him already. Fantasma could see how they loved these lands as much as he. They were the most spectacular view he had seen from the sky in his life.
OOC: Yes, that's fine.

The red fae nodded slowly, already knowing why the gentle stallion was there. "I would be more then happy to allow you to roam here," she said after a moment "but not rule. I am sorry..." She paused, not knowing his name and looking at her beautiful daughter who returned the same look.
Omeya smiled gently, taking a step forwards and circled the stallion with a playful grin. Taking in every inch of his bodice before returning to her mothers side with a nod. "If you let us be.." Kanchana said sadly "my daughter will go with you." Omeya bobbed her red head, looking at the nobel stag with warm brown orbs.

Fantasma sighed. He wanted badly to be the ruler of these lands, and he would speak with Cadifor soon enough. Of course, the queen would give up her position as queen very easily, unless her stallion forfeited. I will not surrender he thought, still staying in the spot he was. The alicorn sighed though; he would wait a small bit of time before taking over, but he would in the end if the stallion did not show.
He smiled down at her."You know how the herd lives though, of course. If a stallion is not around for a while, his place can easily be taken," he said, speaking to the point again. His gentle, soft eyes watched the young fae, knowing that he would like to be with her. Leaving Faoi Thionchar was not something he planned on doing though.

Kanchana's tone quickly changed, her eyes flashed slightly with a flick of her tail. "You will also be aware that a queen may fight in place of her king," she said, glaring up at the stallion form. She hated fighting, but she would. "Is é seo mo bhaile! Ní bheidh tú é a chur as dom!"she muttered in irish before calming herself down and eyeing him.
"You can stay, as a subherder, and if my daughter still wishes, she may go with you," she said, leaving it at that.

Fantasma's glare darkened as his determination settled. "I will not fight a fae, but I will fight your stallion" he said, bringing himself back from his anger. It was wrong, and he knew it. He would fight for this land but not against Kanchana. No, it would not go down like that. Still, he would not make her leave unless she did not willingly give him the land.
He did not want a war here, but if she did try to fight him, she wouldn't win. That was certain. Fantasma had already made up his mind that he wouldn't fight her. He stood strong and proud, staying strong.

Kanchana frowned slightly, scoffing at the thought of a stallion not wanting to fight. Sure, she was a mare, but that didn't mean she couldn't fight, and well. You had to learn quickly, unless you wanted to drop a different stallions foal every season.
Omeya nipped her mother, pushing her way forwards and eyed the stallion. "If I go with you..will you keep the peace at least until he returns?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly as she spoke.

Fantasma sighed. "Young fae, you are not a consolation prize for me. If you wish to be with me, you may. I will fight for this land either way: whether or not you go with me," he said truthfully. The Alicorn shook his head, looking to the ground.
He knew sooner or later that he would have to fight Kanchana. Her stallion was not near, and he had shown weakness by not being here for her. It was quite a terrible thing that he had done...abandon his loved one and daughter. Then, for Kanchana to offer her only daughter to him just to leave them alone...terrible.

Kanchana and Omeya shared a look and finally, the older wiser mare nodded her carved head gracefully. Oyema took another small step towards him, slightly annoyed in the way he spoke to her. As if she was a newborn child, rather then an almost full grown fae. "I choose who I wish to run with," she said simply and eyed him once more "and I will do what I must, no matter what it is." "I understand you will fight my father, as you must if you want this land, but we merely ask you to wait until he returns. It should be any day now," she said, pausing a mere centimeter from his flared nostril. "And you have a kind heart, gentle soul. You stick up for the things you believe in and will protect those who trust you with everything you have," she continued. "You are my maité , you are my anam." Her red nose stretched towards his, stopping just before they touched and waited for his reply. Would he take her?

Fantasma did not believe that he would return. "That could be a lifetime. I would like an amount of time for when I shall be able to take over," he said quietly, being smart enough to know that the queen might be trying to trick him. Queens were smart, they always were. His would be too once he was the ruler of a territory.
The ebony stag watched as she came closer. He reached his nose out to brush hers softly as she said something in Irish. She does want to be with me he thought to himself, happy that he had his mare, his first mare. Fantasma smiled at her, his sky blue orbs smiling at her too.
