Quiet Whispered slowly walked towards the boarders of the Forest Of Mysteries. She shook her head, halting as she stood just outside of it. Her purple eyes looked around with uncertainty, she had never really been in a herd before. Yet she was not alone, a bird accompanied her, the La'ru, in the form of a Haast Eagle.
'Turn back. Go, run. Just leave. It's not so hard to do.' The La'ru whispered in her mind. 'It's so easy.. Just walk away.' She shook her head again. 'No.. I said that-'. 'It doesn't matter... He knows you were lying. You run with no one mare. No one.' The bay mare stood still, thinking, listening, deciding. "No." She took a step inside the territory.

The ebony Alicorn stag grazed upon the grass, a different texture then what was found anywhere else. Footsteps he heard, rustling in the grass. Who had come? Fantasma walked forward, slowly but silently. Already, he knew his lands well enough to do that. A fae the hue of the earth and with eyes of the most beautiful shade of purple stood just outside his lands, his paradise. Quiet Whisper? he thought, coming from behind some brush. It was her indeed; she had finally come! The king smiled a warm, gentle smile as he saw her, now just within his lands, and she was not alone.
"Greetings, Quiet Whisper," he said softly. To him, she seemed nervous and maybe a little bit frightened. There was nothing to fear here though, not with Fantasma around. Only a few dangers were of these lands, and he would be sure to tell her of those. "Welcome to the Forest of Mysteries," he added, glancing around at the territory which he had settled within. It was so diverse...so different here. That was what he loved the most about it. Hopefully she would too.
As of now, there was no queen. Omeya and Freier Geist were the other two that resided there with him. Soon, there would be a decision of who was to rule by his side. They would probably meet soon. Omeya was a young fae from Faoi Thionchar: the beautiful daughter of the king and queen of the land. Freier Geist was a young fae that had blood crossed between a hellion and pegasus. Fantasma hoped they would all be friends with one another. Feuds between mares were never easy to solve.

"Greetings Fantasma." She smiled back. Her purple eyes were averted to the sky, it was darkening quickly. She took another step in to his territory, before moving in completely. The La'ru sat atop her back, glaring with its blood red eyes. It moved swiftly and landed on the ground, looking up at the stallion, sending him a message.
'Be careful who you pick for your herd. You never know, the imaginary can always become reality.' It opened its beak, and a red liquid poured out. 'When I am finished here, that will be what is left.' It cawed and then raised itself in to the air, flying after Quiet Whisper as she stepped, further, in to the territory, totally unaware of what the bird had just said.

Fantasma watched it, its threatening red eyes glaring into his light eyes. The stag knew it was just trying to intimidate him and scare him like it did the mare. You don't scare me he said, not knowing what the capabilities of the bird actually were. Even when the bird threatened, he paid no attention. No action or effort was being shown at the moment to destroy his herd, but he would keep its words in his mind just in case.
He trotted over to the other mares. "That is Omeya," he said motioning to the chestnut fae standing in the center. "And, that's Freier Geist," he added, looking to the other mare that was bay with flames upon her wings. Fantasma looked over to the bushes, that were already beginning to have the bright red berries. "Don't eat those. They're a death sentence," he said, looking back to her. The young king had seen the results already of one who had eaten of the berries, even before they had turned red. Within two days and two hours, they were dead. That gruesome story would not be told though, not at all.

Quiet Whisper nodded and smiled at Fantasma. She had made the right choice after all. She flicked her tail and moved towards the other mares, greeting them. She shuddered as a cool wind passed by and she blinked her eyes. She was still young, for a mare.
The La'ru cawed as it landed upon Fantasma's back. "Thank's for the information.." It flapped its wings, lifting in to the sky and began to circle above. You could tell it was laughing, concocting plans in its tiny brain. It's blood red eyes fixed upon the mares, it turned in mid-air and disappeared back in to Quiet Whisper.

The king of Forest of Mysteries heard and saw her shiver as the cold winds passed through. "Don't worry," he said, moving closer. "It won't be cold for too much longer. Summer is coming," he added. "Even in the winter, it is not that cold though," Fantasma chuckled. The Alicorn stag stood beside her, as if to keep her warm and shield her from the brisk winds that played in the branches of the trees.
To the La'ru Fantasma turned his attention to. It swept itself up in the air, circling overhead of them. What is it thinking of? he wondered, looking to see its red eyes glaring down at him. It was evil. She was quite the opposite. How ironic he thought as he saw the bird disappear into her once more. Uncomfortably, he shifted his weight and looked back to Quiet Whisper.
