Toralon
I licked my lips as I watched a fish swimming in a shallow area I had dug during the low tide. As soon as it was close enough I darted down, my head dipping into the water for a second as I grabbed the silvery water prey. I threw it a few feet away from the water, then pounced on it, biting its head to kill it.
Tasty, I thought, intrigued by the taste of the fish as I ate it. However, as soon as I was finished, I ran with the few remains, burying them where Clearwater had shown me to. I thought longingly of Anila and Lupita. They should have come by now. I wanted to see them, wanted them to meet each other... I wanted to be with them again...

Anila
The red feathered tail whipped behind her, the loose strands of fur standing on end and making her seem somewhat more majestic and beautiful then she truly was. Her small paws brushed the sandy grounds, yet not a print showed as proof. The wise goddess paused, delicate nose poised as she sniffed the air for his scent. Toralon. The kind, young male she had befriended at the river. Catching the pleasant scent upon the wind, her feet carried her forth until she spotted him. "Oh Toralon!" she cried with delight, a flap of her warm wings as she landed beside him.
Lupita
The once blind and deaf fae moved over the lands, nose close to the ground due to still being blind but her hearing had been returned. Maybe, in the next few years her site would as well. The pointed harks flickered at the lyrics of distant voices. Toralon and someone else. She lifted her paws, moving quietly over the sandy lands. She paused once more, the voices closer now. "Toralon?" she called, blind eyes searching for him.

Toralon
I smiled as Anila landed beside me, enveloping my mahogany and white body. I brushed my neck against hers, my chocolate eyes warm. "It's good to see you again Anila--"
I stopped short, my ears pricking up at the quiet call of my name. "And it would seem that Lupita is here as well!" I looked to her, not far off, and called her closer, welcoming her to the area of the wonderful coastal land I had chosen as my home - if only for a while.
I sat down, looking to Anila with a smile. "Have you been well?" I asked, knowing that redit for any and all abilities to converse went to my white sister, in Danger Gully. She would have come up with something better to say, I just knew it. Still, I knew it was worth more to try hard - with results or without - than to do things effortlessly all the time.
I was waiting now, for Nashira, the long-legged she-wolf, and the only other member of the pack. It was time for me to choose the alpha female, and I had no doubt who she would be; my mind was made up on that matter, and there was but one choice. How the others would take it, I was unsure, but I figured it would be best to let it rest till it was truly there.

Dark fox-like hues danced in the sunlight as glinting ebony pillars, thin and swift, cascaded upon the soft sands. Behind her, laid the tiny paw prints from the young vixen. Rather large and disproportionate harks moved around, observing all the tread upon the territories. A bushy tail sailed behind her slender form, touching the ground slightly with every stride she took. Anticipation shone in her bright pools, glancing from side to side from time to time. The beautiful pelted vix was quite beautiful, wonderful to all those that saw her, her soft expression warming the hearts of all. If only they would like her, though.
Breaking into a lope with excitement, she came to the water's edge, peering out from behind some rocks. Two females stood beside her love, both much more pretty than herself. One of them would make a wonderful alpha for the pack. Perhaps, it would be the gray female, short, but she looked a bit introverted. Still, the kindness in her blind eyes made her stand out from the crowd. It was something that Nashira had come to like about herself and was glad to see others happy with their differences. The other was a gray streaked female, delicate and airy, with feathery wings hued with the stormy hue. She was perfect, and the maned wolf female hoped they could be the greatest of friends.
"Greetings," she said softly, a bit awkwardly as she dropped her skull in submission. Touching her muzzle to his, she savored the sweet warmth of his pelt against hers. Nashira loved how her tall form felt to his, slender and fitting. Looking back to the others, she smiled bashfully. Nashira had never been shy around males, but being around other vixens intimidated her. They weren't fooled by her looks, and she hoped they didn't see any insecurity. On the inside, she was a real sweetheart, confident, and proud. She would help the new alpha and Toralon in any way, once he chose whoever he wished to.
