Boredom was getting the best of the youngster. He sat upon the ground, bored. He had only met the king and queen of Africa, and he was looking forward to perhaps meet others that he could get to know. He moved his tail as he sighed for the fourth time. He panted as the hot sun beamed down on his fur. He sighed and lay down. He wanted it to rain for once, he was getting sick of the weather. "Boredom.. What a terrible thing." He said aloud.

“What’s a terrible thing?”
The white she-wolf slipped out of the tall, weaving, yellowish grasses surroundings her, her cold, black nose poking out first. It was then followed by her finely-crafted skull, before a small, dainty paw as placed in the open, carrying the rest of her cream-coloured body forward into sight.
Aurora shook her head, the crystals on her collar flashing blindingly, milky-white for a second, before regaining its original transparency. The chain that bound her was not visible... Yet bound she was. She had been trapped by her kindness, her gullibility, and it had scarred her forever.

The gigantic queen came up to their two spies, slaves, whatever you wanted to call them. To her, they were all still scum, no matter how they had to be respected, in a sense. Death locked into her eyes as she laid them on the ivory female. "Your new home," she whispered coldly, digging her claws into the ground. "When shall we begin your training, small one?" she asked, nipping at the soft part of her neck lightly as she towered over her. "And...male. Fallon, I believe. Don't complain. Perhaps, finding yourself in immense pain and screaming would be less boring," she said with a sigh, waiting for Draighean. "You wouldn't like that, would you?" she asked, ready to deliver the pain if he dared to ask.
Crepusculum smirked as she decided to turn them against each other. It had always been so fun to watch the slaves fight amongst one another at her old lands. These ones were boring though and didn't ever seem to give much entertainment. "So, Aurora, tell me. What do you think you're good at?" she asked. If she told them she was worthless, they would most certainly believe her and make her a full time breeding wolf. "We both know you're not very smart," she scoffed, remembering every moment of her undying sympathy and easiness. There were some qualities from her that Crep could use, like her innocence and how well the small female could deceive others with her acting.

"I don't think that theres very much chance that would happen." Fallon spoke. "Considering.. I can outrun you so easily." He turned and laughed quietly, obviously calling her slow without speaking. He turned his head, and knew that there might be consequences saying that. He scratched his leg and was posed to run at any notice or hostility that she showed. He wouldn't give them respect, unless they beat him in a race and that was impossible after all. He stood and began to walk towards Aurora, keeping an eye on the queen.

Rustling in the undergrowth behind her warned the ivory fae to prepare herself, before the huge queen wolf stalked out behind her, gazing into her orbs. Aurora narrowed her eyes, staring back unflinchingly, though her fur bristled slightly and a spark of hostility glimmered within. After a moment of staring each other down, the cream fae lowered her crown slightly - a small dip of her head in acknowledgment, but no more. Animosity burned in her golden orbs as she heard Crep's first spoken words to her, hearing the ice-coated voice of hers. Looking away resolutely, she remained that way as the tri-coloured wolf moved closer to her, massive body towering above her shorter frame. Aurora flinched slightly, feeling cold ivories sinking through the fur, though the nip was not hard enough to break the skin.
Looking at the young male wolf, she studied him curiously. Fallon, Crep had called him. Perhaps they could get to know each other better, fending off the shield of ice that had been forming around her heart, each day she had been alone. Stiffening, she sprang to her paws, ears flattened, muzzle wrinkled as her eyes flashed at her dismissive words. Ignoring her first statement, she chose to answer the second. "I believe, Crep, wanting to help others is not considered stupid. Of course, it might be for you." Sadness and betrayal burned in her golden pools, as she stayed that way, motionless, hackles raised. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, as she deliberately turned away from Crep. "I'm sorry," she said, tossing the words scornfully over her shoudlers. "I don't consort with liars."
She moved towards the young male, wagging her tail slightly, eyes lightening a little. "Hi! You're Fallon, I believe? Let me guess, you're here against your will too."

Standing slowly, the massive, nearly bear-like male shook his coat free of leaf-litter and made his way along the scent trail of his queen. Three scents mingled together in the air and he recognized one at Crepusculum, Fallon, and the new slave fae that Crep had brought to them. He emerged slowly from the shadows and eyed Aurora in silence, a darkness in his maroon eyes. He heard her words to his queen and snorted. Draighean also heard the words of Fallon and he looked to the young male and smiled. "Though you may run, you will not get far before someone catches you." His voice was quiet and dark, a nearly deadly tone to come from Draighean's vocals.
The maroon gaze then turned to Aurora. "For such a pretty fae you do not know when to shut up, do you?" At least they had allowed her to live, and to stay in this land so far unscathed. A silent snarl settled on his features as he turned back to Fallon. "You will learn respect, for you will be given great skills that any others would die for a chance to learn. You will treat us as any other king and queen, whether you secretly despise us or not." He snorted. "You will begin training shortly, so you better get past your cocky stage, or you will be put in your place." His tone was short and clipped, a threatening look in his eyes. Draighean had to admit, he liked the pup's courage, but it was a little too strong. If Fallon could put that to good use, it would be a wonderful thing.

"and what would I learn exactly? I don't think much considering that you wouldn't be able to help me able to run faster when.. He looked him up and down and smirked. "when youre as big and slow as a bear." it was true but in saying so it was also a comment on his strength.

Rolling her massive eyes, they settled on the young wolf. Things would manifest from his boredom and his hate for the rulers. Intricate pattens upon the pelt of the queen moved with her muscles, and it was almost as if she could make them dance. "As it is over said, you can run, but you can't hide," she smirked, her long coarse tail staying in an offensive position. Draighean had come, she concluded, feeling his rather large presence standing near to her. Sighing, Crepusculum knew that this annoying male was needed and that he would grow up when his training was handed down to him. The female, she thought, had more potential as a spy though. Quick and deadly and previously trained for something even though Crep couldn't tell exactly what.
"There was a fight," she explained sharply, her tone terse and clipped. With a slightly dark laugh, she noticed the blood still stained her marvelous pelt. "But the blood that you see is not mine - but the blood of someone else. I killed them," she whispered. There needed to be some sort of diversion to keep the other with her for so long, and been injured and so marvelously vulnerable was the perfect key. "You, both of you, will be great at what you'll do for us, eventually," she said easily, not denying the greatness that could come from just the two of them. "If you both would transfer that attitude into your fighting, you'd be much better off," she suggested, no, it was a command. "You could be in the few left after our attacks upon both horse and wolf alike, only if you learn our trade though," she said, giving them an option. They were surely choose the one of life.

Fallon shivered. He didn't want to die. He never did. He suddenly felt scared as he realized how serious they were. How fearsome and dangerous they were. The problem was that sometimes he just didn't see that trait in their personalities when herr them or he came to forget it. He sat his head bowed. He would become loyal to them, try to please them as he figured that speed wasn't everything. He sighed and laid upon the ground, now somewhat relaxed.

Crepusculum smiled with victor as she looked condescendingly down to him. They had won his approval, to put it lightly. In truth, the only thing that had been made was fear in the place of his attitude. Somehow, the queen had gotten through to him when no one could. The best part, he broke down in front of the other slave, encouraging her to do the same. "Good," she murmured, examining him for any physical clue to tension or defiance. It had all relieved him; he was ready to begin, to serve them loyally throughout his years. A pack, he would be allowed with as many females as he pleased. Just a spy was he, nothing more, nothing less.
"Soon, we shall begin. You will not regret this," she stated. And, no, he wouldn't at all. Remorse would be felt for turning against his own people when the rest of them were dead and gone. That was his only burden. No doubt, he would be in and out like Dakota if there were troubles within his pack too. It was a shame was females of their kind did to the packs to rip them apart and cause their lovers, at one time, so much grief and misery. There was a reason they were called bitches, and that was the exact one. Crep looked to the ivory fae, wishing to know if she would resist them. Now that she had been pleased, she was more intent on killing the other small one just for fun unless she complied.

Though she tried, the cream fae could not stop the words at pounded at her skull, slipped into her auds like treacherous, writhing serpents as Crep explained how she had come by the blood. She faced away from the tri-coloured wolf, yet her eyes wee still squeezed shut, as her flanks rose and fell in time with her rapid breaths. How could she have fellen so completely, been so taken in by the queen's lies and sweet words that she would willingly walk halfway across the whole land to escort herself to her own prison and seal her own fate, locking the cage and throwing away the key - all by her own. Hurt and betrayal ripped her heart to shreds - she had trusted Crep, had even come to treat her as a friend. Flattening her ears, she strove to keep her outward calm, not letting the crowd see her inner turmoil.
Her composure fell apart when Fallon agreed to their demands. What? Aurora spun around, hackles raised as she started to round on the young male, before checking herself, sweeping a burning, simmering gaze full of indignant fury on all three. Her golden pools were dark with rage and anger as she took a step towards the female queen, pulling her lips back in a snarl. Locking gazes, she allowed all her contempt and hatred to show through the usually calm, happy exterior. "Why?" she asked in a deadly whisper. "Why did you have to do that? You had but to ask - not to deceive. You didn't even give me a chance to free myself. Why did you do that?" she asked, fixing her smoldering orbs on the queen, her furious gaze slipping away, replaced by hurt and a world of betrayal. She had not answered the question yet, for fear of what her answer would be.

Crepusculum knew that life played out in the way it wished to. If the ivory fae had been intelligent to pick up on the subtle hints of evil that the tri-hued female let show, she would have. Fate allowed the capture of her, and sometimes, that was just they things went. Once she realized that, she would make an excellent spy mentally as well as in physical structure. Talent was something the young female possessed, and Crep seemed to like her more than the other slaves she had. For one, she was not as annoying and kept to herself better than the big mouthed male or the once mouthy ebony female they had once trained. If Aurora kept to annoying her, she would have to teach her a lesson, regardless of how preferential she was to her.
Instead of fighting the attempts at an explanation, she would give them to her. Grateful, she would be after this was all said and done. Golden eyes locked on to the others, ready to feed her lies at any time necessary. First, she would at least try to tell the truth, the vague truth at least. "The origin of all pain comes from the mind, the nerves. Physically, no. Mentally, yes. If you want to make this miserable, you can. I wouldn't have chosen you if I didn't have a purpose, and fate allowed you to come here, no? So, why don't you accept what the stars have chosen for you?" she questioned innocently, hiding the threat of darkness that had consumed her years ago.
"You would have possibly been killed if you'd fought me. Could have ended up like the other one did, no lie," she whispered, shrugging naturally at the end of her phrase. "Those that defy enough, they just don't get a second chance," she added. It was the truth, cold and hard, but quite accurate. Crep wasn't sure why she was explaining herself to the fae, but since she had already served her in a way, she was supposed to give her some matter of respect. Perhaps, this was her way of helping her understand her purpose in life, at least the one the queen had created for her. Gullibility was something Aurora had, and it made this conversation oh so much easier.

She jerked back at Crep's soft, seemingly words with well-intent as she narrowed her eyes, biting back a cold retort. No, she was over sulking and complaining like a pup. She would and could conduct herself better. Raising her head, Aurora looked steadily into the wolf's golden pools, so similar to her own as she formulated her answer. Wording her sentence carefully, she told the queen, "One's destiny is not fixed. The future is always in motion, depending on what one does today. In a sense, you're right, for it was my own gullibility that led me here. If I had been sharper, this situation would probably have been avoided." Dipping her head slightly, Aurora gave the queen a semblance of respect for the trick she had managed to play on her. It took skill to act as convincingly as she had done then, and the creamy fae was not one to cast a blind eye to another's talents, no matter how much she disliked them.
Shaking her head, Aurora stared down atthe largest crystal on her collar. It had always given her comfort, hope, in the harshest situations in the land of ice. When food was scarce and fighting was rampant between the packs, when death came often to ones she loved, when loyalty and friendship were tested to the limit, it had always comforted her. When she was younger, she used to fancy that it was like a compass, giving her a sense of direction when she had none, pointing out her path in life. As she grew older, that make-belief had faded, but it still gave her peace of mind whenever she had need of it. Coming out of her reverie, she realised that the queen had stopped speaking and was waiting for her response. She blinked, turning her head as she stared at the wide expense of land, into the sky.
"Loyalty is earned, not bought," Aurora murmured softly, turning back to Crep. There was no warmth in her gaze as her ice-cold eyes raked over the tri-coloured wolf, nodding her head to her. "All you say is true - in a twisted sense. And it is true that since I have come here willingly, so I am subjected to your rules." She paused, lowering her voice. "Yet I find it better to surround myself with those I trust than those whom I force loyalty from."

Draighean listened to the females spit hidden insults at one another, growing quite disgusted. This fae that Crep had brought him was indeed too sensitive. She would need to be hardened, possibly desensitized. It would be a long, hard process, but in order for them to ever trust her as a spy, she would need to be loyal, and heartless. His maroon eyes turned to Fallon. He stepped closer to the pup and lowered his head and his voice so only Fallon could hear. "I am not the one to fear, for I am your trainer, your master as some say. I will not harm you, but help you, and you must trust me. Crepusculum deals with gaining loyalty in a different way. Though I am not soft, and I will kill you, I have the intent of earning your loyalty and trust, instead of forcing it." He paused and looked at the two females before rolling his eyes. Draighean was easily irritated, after all. "Rest, and we shall begin tomorrow," he said a little more loudly, turning to walk towards his queen and Aurora.
"Female, you are lucky that you are alive. The words that you have spoken in the past few minutes are disrespectful to any, especially the one who has your life at her paws. I suggest you learn to hold your tongue." His lips curled in to a silent snarl as he glared at the chained female, his maroon eyes dancing with danger and hatred.

Not intimidated, she replied the look the brute gave her in kind. What, did he expect her to be grateful? After a whole life of listening to no one but herself and sometimes, the alpha, she had little experience in obeying orders instantly – and little patience for it too. As they say, old habits die hard. What they were trying to remove from her was a whole lifetime of habit, and to instill new values and skills would take time. Lashing her tail, she opted to keep her jaws shut, dipping her head in acquiescence, to both king and queen as she stared evenly at both of them.
(OOC: Sorry, low on muse for now >.<)
