Ultimus
I trotted easily through Carrick Cliff, enjoying a cool morning after the shower. Yet already the sun was beginning to warm the lands, and I felt its rays upon my back. Spring...
I knew it was spring, and I knew that there were many who were not as lucky as I, to have a stallion to run with such as Desert Sun. They too, were headed towards Wajida Glade, seeking foals. I would ask it of my king, my dearest...
"Sun," I said, looking around, "I have a question for you." I lowered my head a bit, biting at some of the grass beneath my feet, slightly hungry. Was I worried that he wouldn't come? Not at all.

The proud stallion praced forwards, answering the call of his stunning queen loudly before bolting forwards, coming to a halt beside her. "Hello Ultimus," he greeted her, rubbing her neck with his soft, creamy nose. "You called?"
OOC: soo sorry I finally noticed it XD

I nodded, nuzzling his shoulder gently. "Yes, I did." I looked up, to the sun, to the crescent moon. "It is spring time. And I feel the stirrings... The need for new life. Do you want an heir?" I asked of him, smiling. We didn't even have to leave Carrick Cliff. How nice. It would be nice to have a young one, finally roaming in this place. A filly perhaps, sweet and kind, or a colt, with an adventurous spirit.
Which would it be?

The golden stallion looked at his queen in silence before nodding. "Of course I do, what stallion does not wish for young to call his own?" he asked and shook his shapely head. "Don't answer that....but it is you who must wish for it, want to raise the heir to all these lands," he smiled gently and nudged her, showing a often hid more gentle side. He wasn't cruel, no. Just, well a show off.

"Glad I don't have to answer that. I'd start with our neighbor, Blade, and then move onto his ally. Add in Soul Render, and we have a pleasant trio, no?" I said, smiling a bit, though it was slightly grim. "There's going to be more trouble soon. With those three running around. As well as those surrounding them. More join each day; I see them moving past, on the very edge of the land-between-lands." I spoke sadly too, for I remembered the lovely little fillies that had been tricked to join Blade, their father, again.
But to his next words, as well as his nudge, she simply smiled and nodded, turning away, flicking her tail away from where it usually lay, swatting a few flies in the process.

The golden stag laughed lightly, running his soft nose against her nape and sighed, intaking her scent. "Nothing would please me more," he said gently, nipping at her ear playfully and span, trotting towards the breeding grounds. "Let us be off?" he asked, studying her with a smile.

I laughed and nodded, trotting after him, nipping his shoulder as I passed. "Let's go then!" with a flick of my heels I was off, my strides lengthening as I extended myself, racing low to the ground, though I knew Desert Sun would be able to speed past me with ease. Ah well, running was fun, no matter what. After all, I had never cared much about winning anyways.
OOC: To Wajida.
