Dainty daggers hit rock sharply as they tiredly neared the top of a ridge. Just before looking over the ridge, she stopped for a moment to wait up for her mate. Not even a drop of sweat was rolling from her shoulders; the training she underwent made sure of that. They had passed through the land of the alicorn....she thought, so this had to be the water land that she had heard so much about from the rest of the council. Clambering the last small distance, she stood over the entirety of the land. It was beautiful, to say the least, but would they be welcomed? Although she was a member of the council, many seemed to loathe her because of her temperament. They most likely would though, due to respect if nothing else.
Europa had come in contact with lots of stags, many who were extreme flirts and just wanted someone beautiful. Before, the fae had just laughed at their futile attempts and led them on to think they actually had a chance. Some had even offered for her to be their queens before they had even met or exchanged many words. Unlike them, Rowen hadn't done that. They found something in common and went off of that using the harassment of his sister as something they both enjoyed doing. Europa would try to restrain from leading the king on with her beauty, mostly because she loved the ebony unicorn beside her, she was sure of it.
A slight breeze wiped over her glistening petite bodice as she moved on. Ebony silken tresses blew back, showing her dished skull and perked harks. "We're here," she stated, sliding down a slope and to one of the shimmering lakes. Breathing out in a sigh, steam hit the sky, making the summer weather look almost like winter as it steamed under the mighty temperature of Europa. Now, all the had to do was find the king and queen of the land, if there even was one. Hopefully, they would even be dubbed the betas of the land. That would show the others that was was capable of holding power.

The black followed his new companion, a slightly dark smile settled on his features as he watched her. Rowan had no idea where they were headed but he liked the sound of these lands they had chosen. Though he was not completely positive yet, he thought he loved this mare that had found him. That was the beauty of it, as well. He did not have to go looking for her; she had come to him. It was as if she had been led to him and it pleased him greatly. It also pleased him that he had not needed to flirt with her, or compliment her ridiculously to convince her to come with him. They had instantly seemed to click, their personalities meshing together almost as one. The black unicorn liked it, alot.
Once Europa said that they were there, he smiled and lowered his head to the shimmering lake to take a drink. His red eyes searched around them, looking for the king and queen. Was there even a king and queen of this land? He pondered for a moment what it would be like to rule over a land if they were leader-less. A smirk settled on his features but he shook it away and stepped closer to Europa, nudging her shoulder a bit roughly as his sign of affection. Rowan wasn't exactly an expert at showing feelings so she would have to put up with him until he learned properly.

Your head comes up, and you eye the intruders carefully, sizing them up. Satisfied that you could handle them, you trot down the steep, rocky path leading up to the cliff wall, move through the hidden part of the valley, and begin loping through the passage of stone, hued through the cliff. You come out at a gallop, moving swiftly into it, the waters splashing around you as you, your green eyes shining, just barely touch them with your flying heels, sending waters up into the air, forming rainbows till the waters were still again.
You stop short, your black sides shining with droplets of water, in front of the two horses. A fae and a stag, you see with ease. Probably looking for a home in your lovely, quiet, still valley full of pools of water, like pure light.
"Yes?" you ask them, though not unkindly, your green eyes watching for a sign of trouble.

Europa stepped lightly beside him, admiring the landscape that the valley land had to offer. Once one had seen all the lands, though, not much surprised them anymore. All the pools that were scattered across the sugar-caned land were crystalline....there was a distinct bottom and top. It was worthy of the council to be in, but some rulers could not detect talent when they were right next to it. Carefully, they tread on, her dainty daggers not making the slightest of sounds as they moved easily through the pools of water. Finally, they seemed to come to an opening....perhaps the meeting place of all the herd. The only one around seemed to be a pregnant appaloosa fae doing a poor job of hiding in the bushes. Europa paid no attention to her, mostly because it would affect the reputation of the council in these parts if she attempted to....harass her.
What the charcoal hued vixen felt towards this unicorn that came to her side was new. One day, she had woken up and thought she'd loved Callisto, the leader of the council. How glad she was that it didn't work out though, but then again, she didn't even see that. A little jolted by him nudging her with his shoulder, she just smiled. It was his way of telling her how he really did feel....she thought. Instead of saying any word, she simply touched her warm nose to his neck gently, keeping close to his side. Someone was coming; she had seen it from her vision about the future, and he wasn't no one. The king was coming to greet them.
There wasn't much difference in how they all looked, except horns protruded from their skulls. He had none. Thanliel was lucky today that the couple had not been here to take his land, for it would have not turned out well for him, Europa feared. Instead, they would be on his side, helping him out when that day came. Having a sub herd here would be symbiotic...helping two. "Greetings, stag," she replied neutrally, breathing out so that stream came from her maw even in the hot summer. "I am Europa, from the council of unicorns," she introduced herself. Oh, how she hated when someone else told others who she was, so she would leave that to Rowan when he decided to. "We will not challenge you, but in return, we would like a home here," she replied in a civil tone. If there were any betas here, though, they wouldn't be much longer.

You consider the two for moments, your green eyes taking them in, calculating the risks, considering the benefits. Finally you nod curtly. "You may stay as long as you like, both of you. Perhaps you will become the betas, but as to that, I will not decide at once. Rather, I wish to know you both better before I give you such a title." your green eyes showed no obvious feelings, you masked your emotions as best you could. Unicorns, Alicorns, hellions... All were still new to you, you who were so used to the life that the humans had tried to choose for you. However, a glimpse, a flicker, passed behind your forest eyes.
A sadness? Perhaps. A bit of hope? Oh yes. A curiousness? Certainly. A touch of bitter-sweet happiness? Definitely.
You nod your head again, before looking away, to where your lovely queen was. "Simplicity," you say, gently, your lyrics sweet to her, unlike the voice you often used around others. Your queen brought it out in you, made you softer. Your sire was a fighter, as were you, but to your queen, you gave nothing but love and kindness.

Europa lowered her dished nose down in a nod, gently and with acceptance. If she was a queen, the petite ebony vixen felt she would earn more respect with the others in the council. Europa glanced over to the fae that had attempted to conceal herself when she had first seen them. Now, her intelligent features were lit up with many questions and plenty of curiosity. The fire vixen couldn't exactly blame her for being interested, for a pair of unicorn were not something that was seen every day. For once, she was not struck with the temptation to insult and demean her, which was probably due to the fact that the chestnut mare was the queen and that she did not seem like the type to fight back. Simplicity was her calling, simple, easy to remember.
The one splashed with ivory began forward, her long pillars eating up the ground at just a walk. Simplicity lacked not in beauty, but she had a long past of disappointments. It seemed as if she did not know that she was the queen of this land yet; no one had ever told her. Simplicity was trying to be confident and regal, Europa could tell, but her mind had a jittery sense to it. "Greetings, Simplicity," said the onyx fae, working up a smile. Instead of receiving the greeting back, her dark eyes darted to the tall fae bowing to the two of them. "Greetings, both of you, and welcome," said soft soprano vocals, with a returning smile added within them. The fae with emerald optics touched her nose to her king's neck, a small show of affection. Simplicity seemed as if she was looking for an answer from him.

Rowan eyed both king and queen and then returned his attention to Europa, figuring it best to keep his sharp tongue to himself for the time being. He dipped his head in a respectful greeting. "I am Rowan." he said in a simple tone, managing to keep his normally sarcastic voice at bay. "Thank you for your welcome," he said to Simplicity, forcing a smile. Would they allow them to stay here?
ooc ;; i'm sorry, i don't have any muse for Rowan at the moment =(
