Sleek pallid pillars trudged through high, snow ridden grasses. All life seemed to cease in a matter of moments from the point of the edge of the tundra to the boundary of the gully. Trees lurched in a fire burnt path well traveled by the many residents of the shadow land. Well, there wouldn't be many of them for long, but that was another story.
Wiping out an entire kingdom through wonderfully torturous methods was nearly impossible to do all in one day. No, the ones who lived in the land would see doom befall to their stags and heirs before finally meeting their own fate. It wouldn't be fair to do away with vixens though, for they could bare heirs of his.
Sharply turning his crown back, piercing ice blue eyes glared to the fae he had met at the river land. Lucky for her, she was actually worthy of his attention and had a say whether or not she carried his foal. Hydrus skidded to a stop right before she sauntered up to the king and made his death. "This is it," he murmured coldly, clearing his throat as he gathered his composure in a rather regal way. Being the new highest ranking stag in this land would not automatically gain him respect as it would in some places. Instead, he would have to assert his dominance by any means necessary.
"This will be the greatest massacre of all time," he huffed under his breath as he walked forward confidently. She would come, oh yes, she would definitely come. Laochra seemed to want this power just as much as he did, maybe even more. Large muscles rippled easily under the ivory pelt as he held himself strongly before the king. He would not command him, let alone the new queen of the land. Flames ravaged all over his bodice as they spread to the ground beside him. Now, it was the time for waiting. Perhaps, he would occupy the other members of this land, beginning early his methods of torture. After all, that was their agreement. All the mares, except her, belonged to him.

The Antianara mare paused, eyes running over the so called land of darkness. There was only a slight tint of death to the air, not nearly enough the dark fae decided the smirk growing more pronounced upon her maw. The eyes turned darker with her blood-lust, her hooves carrying her forwards once more before halting completely. Let the idiots come to her, she decided. Let them approach their death.
Ebony tresses spilled over his thickly muscled shoulders, brushing the dark moist ground. His large hooves dug into the soft marsh, leaving heavy prints with every stride. Not nearly as graceful nor talented as the warrior mare.
His young hellion bodice glistened under the dark sky, only adding to the depressing mood which covered the area. No sunshine here, just death and horror. The smirk grew at the thought. This was his land now. This was where he ruled. Where others listened to his commands and thought of his idiot father. Blade. What had happened to him? He was trapped at Snowy River Forest, beaten by his younger brother and forced to live 'nicely'.
Four paws padded on the earth, seeming to rattle as it squished benieth his large paws. The god of fire rolled his eyes, staring at the young stag. "Greetings nephew," the red wolf growled, eyes glinting with darkness. "Uncle." "It seems...we have company," the wolf muttered, red eyes rolling up the hillside and landing upon the dark figure "a worthy mare perhaps?"
The young stallion traced his uncle's gaze, landing upon the scars yet beautiful mare. She had more darkness then any he had met before, just the small glance at her made his lust leap to greater heights. "Yes uncle, she shall be worthy." He smirked, carrying himself easily up the hillside and Remus loping easily by his side. The fire king knew just who this was, and what would happened. He had, after all, ordered the death of his uncle.
"Hello fae." The eyes pinned upon her with greed, and the gaze snapped to the stallion before landing back on the pretty fae. "No stallions."
Laochra snorted with amusement, her emotionless eyes running over her target. "Greetings..." she muttered, rolling her orbs before leaping at him. Teeth and hooves alike digging into his young pelt, and before anyone could move the hellion leader was lifeless upon the floor he had once ruled. "Well that was easy."

Soon, the leaders of the lands were descending from their hiding places. At least there wouldn't have to be a game of hide and seek today. This slaughtering could be quick, easy, and to the point. As much as Hydrus would have liked to see the wannabe king suffer to the full extent of what he had subjected a truly worthy herd to, he wouldn't get the chance to witness it. From the deadly look in the warrior princess' eyes, he inferred that she didn't want to be bothered with him or even give him a chance to react. One moment, there was an ebony stallion with tattered wings standing by a pure fire wolf, probably the actual god. The next, he was laying on the ground - dead.
"Impressive," he mumbled, noticing that astonishment was all over his ivory features. "Well played, Laochra," he nodded, briskly walking over to the fire wolf. They technically were not relatives at all; the Tundran Hellion was a breed of its own. Hydrus definitely wasn't afraid to kill the bastard that had helped the young weakling on his conquest for power. The stag couldn't help but smirk at the fact that the colt had fallen from power after just a short period of ruling, just like his weak father.
Hydrus moved out over the land, breathing in the smell of death consuming the lands themselves. This was their land, and he was the most powerful stallion in it. He hadn't even let the notion creep into his mind, about being one of the most powerful in just one land. It was marvelous to feel all that power within, like he could do anything, anything he wanted. Hydrus felt the need to end any stag that dared to challenge his superiority, and it wouldn't be a quick death for them. Slow and painful was just how he liked to kill.

Laochra nodded her head smartly in reply, acknowledging his words as nothing more then truthful. "Simple." Her eyes dropped to the wolf and bared her teeth slightly. "Where taking this land," she told him, and the wolf shrugged him massive shoulders. "I don't need it," he said, walking off and disappearing back to the pits of hell. The land of mortals bored him without someone to annoy.
Ebony silk banner flew behind her, hooves clattering over the death filled lands with a small smirk. It was hers now, despite having to share it with that stallion, she had a home to fill with true darkness. Maybe others of her kind would come. She caught up to the brute easily, eyes running over the landscape and a giggling blue figure caught her attention. "What is that?" she asked with disgust, accent clear within her words.
The blue dot became bigger, stumbling over its own feet as it giggled and chattered to itself. It was a wolf, but seemingly insane. "Radu likes Opal, Radu likes Opal very much," he informed the pair and giggled again without truly seeing them, paws carrying him past as he stumbled once more, landing in a pile at Laochra's feet. "Ooo.." he said, staring at the huge fae "big, dark soul. Big dark eyes, Radu wishes he could have eyes..." Laochra blinked, for once surprise at what she was seeing and lifted a hoof, landing it upon his skull and there was silence for a moment. But the giggles started again. The warrior princess pulled back, somewhat disturbed by what she was seeing. The wolf didn't even have a mark upon his head, not even a drop of blood despite her standing upon him. "Radu given gift," he cackled "given gift by red god, red god like Radu very, very much."
The dark eyes flickered to Hydrus, wondering what she should do. She couldn't kill it, or let it go. Maybe he could become a spy for them.

Most any fire wolf would have at least put up a decent fight, but gods had better things to do than dispute over one land. Then again, this wasn't just a simple territory. This land was the size of at least four piled in together and give plenty of room for masses of herds and packs. It didn't surprise him that much when the orange hued brute shrugged and retreated. Things had to be more interesting in hell, but to be honest, Hydrus didn't have the time to spend down there. Tending to the lands were more of a priority for him.
Flames encircled his bodice still, sending off a blue, deadly warning for any residents that thought they could take him on. In the distance, some wolves came into view, one standing out in the dingy light as he scanned over it. "What the hell..." he mumbled, striding forward to meet it halfway. Hydrus understood just from the incessant giggling that it must have been stupid or insane - or both. They were common to go hand in hand, and he really didn't see the difference.
Hydrus was sure they would meet this Opal creature soon enough; he would probably bring them to her. By the way he was speaking about her, she would make a fine prize for the lead wolf of the land as soon as her mate was gone. When the dagger of the princess came down upon his skull, he expected to hear a cracking noise as his brain was pierced by bits of skull becoming concave upon it. Instead of screaming in pain, the annoying giggling sound erupted from his mouth again. Hydrus felt like killing the thing, but he simply couldn't. No, the god had somehow blessed him with invincibility, but perhaps that could be used to their advantage.
Suddenly, an odd notion popped into his motion. Not only would they use this opportunity and manipulate this brute, they could make spies out of all the slightly useful creatures. "Let us enslave him to do our work. The hell hound over there could be a useful spy to us too. Look at those wings," he murmured, glancing around as the wolf glared back. The ebony shining brute was actually intelligent, unlike the other one. The only disadvantage to him was that he actually could be killed. It was all her call, though.
