There were only three of them. You could call it sneaking around if wished, but they had just come to observe the land. To gain knowledge of the inhabitants and the place itself. Never before had they laid their eyes upon such a wonder. Two mares and a stallion, not a herd but of breed. They weren't exactly close yet preferred each others presence than of one not of their breed. They had heard rumors of the horses who roamed, proclaiming to be kings and queens. Sure they were of this land, yet not in the mind of others, they were just simple beings.
"This place is dull." A voice broke the silence, it had been one of the mares. "Look at all the ice!" The other voiced excitedly while the stallion remained silent. You could hear the sudden disappointment in her voice as she spoke again. "But.. It melts slightly whenever we move over it.." A laugh erupted from the other mare. "Melt all the ice connectig it to the land." She announced. "Then they won't have anywhere to go!" "Shut up, you two." The stallion finally spoke. He saw figures in the distanced and thanked the two for making their presences known, there was obvious sarcasm in his voice.
He was relieved as he found it was only an artic fox that strode by. He scented the wind. "They're around here somewhere." His black and white body stepped backwards turning to his companions. "You two.." He saw them look at him attentively. "You both annoy me deeply, shut up for once." The silence resumed and his ears were pricked. He continued to watch for the kings and queens as the mares took notes in their brains about the new land. "My companions.." He spoke once more. "I can sense that war is to be upon ourselves sometime in the distant future. Can't you smell it?"

Eispferdkonig He scented the intruders on his lands. Snorting, Toendra and Ice as well moved with him towards where they were. They were a slight indeed, the three ice horses moving in unison across the land, side by side. Silence ensued as they move, not a sound they made on the ice. Coming near the intruders they stopped. "You dare intrude here?" Eispferdkonig said, while the others pinned their ears back. "This is our home, you are not welcome here," Toendra said. She was the queen. Ice snorted, eyeing the others. "Get out," he said.

Dark shadows lurked under the icy-thick surface as they swam in a carefree manner. Burnt golden eyes set themselves on three figures above and heard their chatter. Swirls danced upon her beautiful, delicate bodice as she tread the water instinctively. Glazing herself with water, she assured herself that no one would notice she was right under them until she wanted herself noticed. Fear burned in her chest just from the heat that they gave off. Hellions burned with ferocity, yet these were no normal hellions. They were mutants.
Inachus she thought, calling to the other king of the land. Soon, he was there beside her. They were neither in love nor related, but they had been good friends since their meeting in a royal meeting. They listened intently as the three made their entrance further into the land. Destroy the land? No way the strong willed queen thought as she began to outline where she was going to cut the block of ice away. The pounding of daggers against the banks of snow send vibrations through the ice. In the meanwhile, the Hykran horses had made a plan of their own.
Inachus swam over to an exit from the icy waters that they had made when they first arrived. The king emerged, dripping with water that froze as soon as it hit the air. He shook his pelt out easily, sending dagger like spears of ice going everywhere. With a snort, he clambered up a bank of ice and down to where the confrontation was happening. "Don't come a step closer. You will not destroy our lands. You will leave now or regret it," he threatened. Inachus did not bluff; what he said was the complete truth. If there was to be a war, there would be and the Hykran and Eispferd horses would win it.

Wasn't it just foolish how some just decided that they were he kings and queens of territories? How they demanded others to follow them and their ideas. The three sized them up. "Oh don't be so cold." A mare announced suddenly. Whoever decreed that they actually indented to do harm? The thought had just arisen, nothing more. The stallion pawed the hardened surface, provoking a challenge. "Fools. You cannot make us leave." The stallion hissed. "We do not rule anything, especially you freaks. We just mooch off of the worlds resources." He announced.
Kyril swished her tail. "If you think you will win the war, be mistaken. We will not just lay down for you fools." She raised her head, white eyes staring with silent hatred. "Abominations of life you are." Just as we, she thought. She took a step forwards, towards the inhabitants, smirking. She wasn't scared, her green and golden markings moving and adrenaline flowing. She found the other mare, the cocky bitch, Shallowed Soul following. It was alike a battle between two predators almost or predator and prey, it didn't matter who was on what side.
"Sink this worthless island." Destruction Zone decreed. The three arose in union and their hooves found the ground, a shockwave was sent out and thick steam formed. ShallowedSoul laughed as magma poured from their hooves, melting the ice and snow and hardening as it fell in to the sea. Had the war started already? Probably. "If they get in you're way.. Slaughter them."

Inachus stood his ground as they stood theirs, pitying them for what they were. All they were capable of being were lowlife mongrels, and it would be settled who was the better race. All of them were the most elite and pure of their breeds, and there would finally be a settlement upon who was better - good or evil. "That's all you can do. You can't fit in with Hellions, and you surely don't fit in with normal horses. What makes you think you'll get anywhere in this world when everyone hates you?" he laughed lightly at them. There was no way they were taking this land. The Hykrans and Eispferds had the home advantage here, anyways.
The king raised his massive, perfectly sculpted crown and grimaced as they began to melt their precious ice. "Rayna. Now!" he yelled, waiting for her to rid them of their wonderful island. They technically didn't have to use violence, that is, unless this combat turned into close up action. Whatever it took, they weren't taking a step closer into the land if they didn't want to die. "The four of us will fight them. This isn't theirs to take," he murmured to the three beside him. The Volcins were outnumbered greatly, and they could prepare to die.
Rayna, who had been treading water below them the entire time, cut the ice around them, sending the block of ice that they were on out to sea. She created a gigantic wave of water their way to push away the block of ice and then sent another wave to try to knock them into the deadly, icy waters. Rayna jumped up onto the ice next to the other royals of the land. "Game over, mutants," she yelled, a hard glint to her normally gentle orange eyes.

The three ice horses who were there snarled as one, drawing back their heads like a snake about to strike then each lunged forwards not hitting anyone in particular. From each open mouth shot a beam of cold liquid ice, the same colour as the horse who sent it out. The ice seemed to mix into the broken area of the land, healing it back to normal.
"Leave!" roared Eispferdkonig. "This is our land and hellions will never be welcome here!"
