Starlight Moon I knew she was curious about our home. "Have you chosen a queen yet?"

Cadifor shook his head. "Not as of yet. I will soon enough. I just want to get to know you all better first so I can decide who would be best as a leader. You know?" He smiled at the pretty mare, hoping she would understand.

Starlight Moon "I understand that." I did not add that I would not stay if it was not me.

Cadifor smiled slightly and then looked away. He was very worried that they would not stay if he did not choose them. However, he could not pick more than one queen, thus someone would be left unhappy. Unless he picked no queen at all...No, then that would upset them possibly even more. It was a lot to think about.

Starlight Moon I smiled at him. "What is troubling you, Cadifor?"

Cadifor turned his gaze to Starlight with a serious look in his eyes. He smiled, though it was a bit strained. "I do not want any of you to leave if I pick another. I love you all, equally, no matter who I choose to be called queen." He frowned a bit but then nuzzled Dancer when she whispered a reassurance in his ear. It made him slightly happy. He knew she would stay, at least.

Cadifor smirked and, forgetting the tense conversation he had been holding, took off after the white mare, a spring in his step as he followed her footsteps. He came to where she was hidden and reached out to nip her on the rump playfully before turning and galloping in the other direction, his tail high with playfulness.

Cadifor laughed as the mare licked him once she caught up with him. He slid to a stop as she cut him off and then watched for a second as she took off. But he regained himself and followed her, full speed, towards the hill where she danced. He galloped up to her side and raced with her, his silver mane and tail flying behind him as he ran. The large stallion pulled ahead of her and laughed, tossing his head in joy. Would she keep up?

Cadifor tossed his head with delight and pushed it up a notch. She was smaller and more limber than him, therefore she would obviously win, but he stayed right off her hindend until they reached the top of the hill. Once there, he slid to a stop and up in to a rear, pawing his hooves at the air and neighing in delight. What fun! "You win!" He cried, though he was laughing and it was hard to speak.

Cadifor watched with wonder as the mare danced. "You dance so beautifully." He whispered to her, and smiled, his eyes dancing with joy and wonder as he watched the mare up close.
