Desert Sun I trotted into the land, my deep sun-set coat shining in the sun. "Leader of this land, I wish to talk," I called and waited. Knowing he would come. Eventually.

I trot forward with a gangly stride, my black mane gleaming as it fans out behind me. "I am here, what do you wish to speak of?" I ask, my black hooves stilling themselves, and I stood, looking awkward as I usually do standing still.

I looked over the stallion. Black in colour, seeming kind enough in person. "I wish to talk about Alliances," I said "And would be honored to have one with you."
But hey, flattery worked.

"I see. Where, may I ask, do you live? And what form of alliance do you seek?" I ask, curious, but trying hard not to show it. It would be good to have an ally, but I am nervous, what if I should fail? What if he decides that I wouldn't be a good ally? My mind was full of questions, but try as I might to still them, I could not, so I let them run their course as I wait for him to answer.

"I was thinking of a ALLY allience, ones both of trading and fighting, though I have no planning on trading my mares unless they wish to go but the option is good to have," I said, nodding my golden head and studying the stallion again.
Young, yes, but not stupid. He seemed to know what he was talking about.

"Currently I have a single mare, but perhaps... I will think on it and come to you with my decision." I say finally; taking my time with my answer would be partially a test for him and partially so that I could think on it and weigh the two choices. I wait for his answer quietly

I nodded. "Of course, have time to think," I said. "Decided your answer and come to Carrick Cliff, call my name and I shall come," I said and tilted my head once more before turning and with a flick of my tail I was on my way to my rocky home.
