Stars-Sam I sighed as the black hellion mare who ran with me glared at me again. My temper was always on edge with her around. She was an unwanted wieght in my herd. If I could trade her away, then all would be good. She was always making snide remarks about Cadifor's rules, and I knew that the bloodlust from our father ran strongly in her.
"No one is forcing you to stay, Spitting Flames," I said for the hundredth time that morning.
"I like to annoy you, little brother," was her snide remark.

Corus trotted forwards towards the bickering siblings. The Grim Reaper sat upon his back, sideways glaring in to his scythe he held high to the sun. The Grim frowned and ran his fingers along the blade, he looked up surprised. "Here now?" He questioned, no answer came though.
Corus stood before the two, towering high. "Greetings, siblings of hellion blood. I am Corus of Inferno Plains." His head was held high, and he moved suddenly to the side, making the Grim fall from his back. He struck out with his left hind hoof, and hit on the mark on The Grim's head.
The Grim got up, grumbling to himself, wiping his black rags and using his scythe as a walking stick. He swore at Corus a few times, but stopped as Corus shot him a glare. He turned and observed the land.
Stars-Sam "I am Stars-Sam, the beta of Faoi Throncair, Corus. I have heard much of you." I snorted as I recognised the big stallion. I was not quite to his hieght but I towered above my sister personally. "What brings you to the valley? It is not often that hell horses are seen here and I must say that I am intrigued by your presence."
My sister snorted. "Why must you do all the talking, Sammy?"
I snorted. "This is Spitting Flames, my sister." My tone was grudgeful.

"I am here for an alliance. For I need alliances for world domination. You see, I dream of being king of all horses. Even that colt, Ashton. In return for Alliances in this coming war, I offer the first stag I see in each land, the privilege to rule over each domain they live in. In your case, The Secret Valley lands. As well as all the mares in the lands of the domain, if we can conquer it."
He said his words carefully, his gray eyes gliding over Stars-Sam's sister, Spitting Flames. His tongue found itself gliding over his sabered fangs. His black coat heating in the sun above. His eyes moved back to the stag and then to The Grim as he moved to slice him with his scythe. He dodged it so easily, more than several paces away now. "You should know better, Grim."
Stars-Sam "An alliance of war, you say..." I thought about that. I was not one for fighting but if my dreams of power were to ever be ignited then I had to take any offered opportunity. "I will aide you with this. But I seek a trade. There is a rather worthless mare and filly I know of that run with you. For them I would be willing to let you have my sister."
Spitting Flames snorted. She seemed to agree with the idea. Something i did not expect. "You would not be the one at a disadvatage.."

Corus nodded. "That is fine with me. Take the slave and her dirty-blooded filly." His eyes shifted to Spitting Flames then back to Stars-Sam. "Grim." He said quietly, and frowned as he eyed The Grim. He knew this would hurt.
The Grim smiled with glee, as he raised his scythe and cut in to Corus' tough skin, it was like a paper-cut. The Grim started to laugh as blood dripped slowly from Corus' new wound, and on his scythe. He heard Corus swear at him angrily, and felt something kick him in the back. He flew on to the ground. But then Corus took off at amazing speed, it was a full-fledged gallop.
It was so fast you could barely see it. Corus sped off towards his territory and bit into Lubra and headed back towards Stars-Star and Spitting Flame. It was faster seeing as Lubra's neck was held in Corus' mouth, Hot Sun would surely follow.
Stars-Sam I snorted. "I will deal with Cadifor. If he chooses to not join us peacefully, than I will fight him. And that will be something he will regret. No normal horse can match the strength of any hellion. The others will fall easily, once it is time."
I eyed the mare and then saw the other filly that appeared out of nowhere. "You had best be going, Corus, before Cadifor catches your scent."

Corus snorted. "I'm not afraid of that colt." He said, and swished his tail thoughtfully. He turned and moved effortlessly to the outskirts of the land. His eyes shifted towards the area he had been and waited patiently for Spitting Flames. Hurry up. He thought to himself. Plans need to be made.
The Grim walked slowly after Corus. "Hurry up, filly." He taunted Spitting Flames. He smirked, and cleaned the blood on the floor of the land. He waved pathetically to Stars-Sam and the rest, and disappeared.
