She chuckled. "And what question would that be?" She knew that it could not be anything bad, surely. She knew she liked him, a lot. Gthere was no way she would laugh at what ever it was. Though she'd been little more than a pup when she'd met him, she was mature now.
His eye rolled over so that it studied her red, perfect bodice as it laid beside him. He licked his lips, stalling for time and sighed nervously. "I...I was..wondering," he stuttered and suddenly sprang to his feet pacing on the spot before sitting on his haunches and huffed out a deep breath. "I was wondering if you'd be my.....mate...." he said, not meeting her gaze and instead studied the dens floor, curling his tail around himself.
Her eyes were bright as she looked at him. he was so perfect for her and she knew it. Though why she could not say it she did not know at the moment. For a moment she struggled with her own mind before looking at him once more.
His head snapped up, tilting slightly as he studied her in surprise. She was his mate. His mate. The words made his heart ache with happiness, glad to know that he was the only male to put claim on her. "Thank you," he whispered, shuffing closer and rubbed against her side, making sure that his scent linger upon her red coat. Smiling apoleticly "so others know that your mine," he explained, licking her ear gently and sighed with content. Things were looking good.
she snorted. "I sort of figured out what you were doing, Luikawa." It was something she had heard of male wolves doing before, but she would never say where that was. It had been a darker place for her, and she knew it. Back when she was the freak of the circus.
She chuckled though. Then she smiled at him. She really was happy here, and it showed.
