He moved through the woods, knowing that things would not be easy. For it was time for one to die so that there would be peace once more in the lands. Neither could live any longer in peace while the other remained. Time for battle had come once more, but this would be a one on one battle.
The herds were not to be touched during this. That was the one rule for the others to understand. Nor were our heirs. I knew my side wouild not fail me there. Though I did worry about those who were on Blades side at the moment.
I paced worried as I was inside the glades, knowing that the others would come. For the word of the challenge would have spread via all the animals.

Dragon Wing
I was flying low to the ground as my color and wings look and color would give me away to any horse that was Blade or those you worked for him. I turned then then put my legs on the ground. folding my wings as i trotted to were i would meet up with Blue Jay and on to see Thowra. I stopped and looked around for the blue roan and when i spotted him went over "greetings Blue Jay" i said then started to trotted off to were Thowra would be.
Blue Jay
I galloped to were i would wait for Dragon Wing. I got there and stood waiting for him to come. I watched as he came towards me after a time and greeted me "greeting " i said then moved off with him. I moved so i was next to him and looked around keeping my eyes out for Thowra. I spotted him "Dragon Wing this way" i said then we both went to were i had seen him "greetings Thowra" i said as did Dragon Wing.

A heavy snort left his nares as he heard them coming. "Greetings, Blue Jay and Dragon Wing. Ready to have your home back, Dragon Wing?" He would know what i meant by that. It was then a white mare came cantering up, icy tresses flying in the wind she created. "Time is it, Thowra?" "Yes. Misty Mountains will get its rightful king and queen back, Moonslight." he bowed his head to the ivory fae. For Blade would fall, and I would be the one to hand over the land to another horse. I had no need for a second land to call my own. That would be selfish of me. There was much on the line, but too great a challenge in this coming fight. Sorrel came, followed by Sigaf and I smiled. "Greetings Sorrel and Sigaf of Vernien En' Seere." "Thowra."
Then came the father of both Blade and Thowra himself. Yarraman, once king of Snowy River Forest, and a tiny pure hellion cream Fallabella mare. Bel Bel, mother of Thowra and Blade. It was clear which one they were more proud of at the moment.
Another came though, a young almost cream, though really an off white palomino mare. She was young but a horse of the ice, as was the older white mare beside her. For they were Friehiet, disowned daughter of Blade and Moonslight her mother.

She came in, looking around slightly warily. The beautiful daughter of Blade, ready to join in the fight against her sire. Her tresses blazed, and the white markings on her chest shimmered softly, and too all that looked, it seemed as though she were glowing with an inner fire.
"Moonslight," She nodded, warmth filling her voice. "Sister. Thowra," She added, flashing a dazzling smile at the stallion who had help to raise her from young.
The queen of the swamp came, stalking in silently, mane whipping around her pillars as she stopped at the edge of the cricle. She was Mirage, the not-so-often-seen queen of the swamp. She nodded at the horses, not speaking. Demon would be here soon.

"Greetings Mirage, I see your land got Freedom's message, seeing as you are here." Thowra bowed to the queen of the swamp. Then he smiled as he saw Hope. "I was not expecting to see you here, Hope, my dear." For he had hoped that she would not be a part of this. "It is not a place for either my heirs nor Blades." To him though, she was his daughter, not Blades. "I cannot stop you though, can I, my daughter?"

Mirage returned to bow regally, returning to the shadows, content to watch and wait for her mate to come.
The young fae's eyes shone with pleasure as she heard Thowra speak. "For once, I surprised you, Thowra," She grinned, flicking her tail as she gazed at Thowra - her father in all but blood. Thowra was more of a father to her than Blade could ever be.
"Is is my duty, Thowra," She returned, eyes bright, gaze steady as she answered her foster father. "And you knew you never could," She chuckled fondly.
A creamy mare stepped in shyly, her flaxen mane blowing round her head as she scanned the clearing. Spotting Thowra, she snorted ith relief, trotting over to him. She was Kunama.

he knew without doubt that there was something he was hiding from them all. Something that had happened not very long before I he came here. Amani and Erosaf knew, but no one else. The thing that would ultimately destroy Blade of nothing else would. "Did you see anyone else coming, Kunama?" he asked her.
He spoke too soon for another stallion, young as Hope and Freedom, though maybe a few months older, came upon them. He was black as night, handsome, and had the prettiest of stars upon his head. No flames were there in his tresses, and his wings neatly folded. He stood off to one side from the group, watching as he saw those assembling that would fight against his king.

A bodice the hue of the earth shone in the sunlight as pillars of ivory trampled over some bushes as he clambered down a steep hill. Storm hued pools glowed from his fine crown. Ivory markings, just like the clouds moved up, over his pillars and underbelly. A land of beauty he came from, called his dwelling. It was home with him and his lovely queen, Shattered. Kiambu had finally arrived, to discuss the fight and to fight, himself, if it was needed. They would be victorious.
There had been much turmoil throughout the last few years, with several hellions coming to trouble them. His friend, Thowra, had to deal with one of the most ferocious. With the new found friendship, anything could be accomplished. Kiam smiled and nodded to the large group of horses standing in the center with Thowra in the middle. "Greetings, Thowra," he said happily, joining them.
--
The next two that came were faes from the same land. One was a simple herd mare, and her foal had been left behind, at her home. The Coast of Peace was the perfect place to leave the young one for a few hours until she had returned. Surprisingly, she did not see her first daughter yet. Perhaps, she would not be joining them from her home in Faoi Thionchar. Monila smiled over to Blood Diamond, the beta queen, who was trotting beside her.
Blood Diamond moved quickly to the side of her mate, Sigaf. Soon, the time of troubles would be over, and life would fall back into a rhythm of ease. "Greetings, Thowra," she said politely, bowing to the king. No foal she had yet, this season. That would change after the battle though, for she would ask Sigaf for one, she had finally decided.
---
Everyone's eyes widened as they saw the last member of the meeting. They almost seemed to fall out of their sockets as they saw the most surprising attending fae. Darkly, Candra chuckled to them, flicking her whipcord of fire. It was disgusting here, with all those non hellions. More than she hated them, though, she hated Blade. Anything she would do to end his pathetic existence. Of course, Candra had been dwelling in his lands for a while, but it had only been to stay with Medarmeth. Now, she had moved on from him too.
In the middle, she stood. It wasn't worth her time to bow or do anything that the pitiful ones did. "Hello, everyone. You seem surprised," she hissed, moving up to Thowra. "Truth is, I hate your brother even more than I hate the pathetic being that you are," she said, waiting for his reply. If he wanted her help if he lost after the battle, he would let her stay.

Thowra snorted as the three faes moved towards him as well as the one lone stallion. "Kiambu, Monila, Blood Diamond, good to see you again." He paused though at the daughter of Exile. "It is a surprise to see you here, Candra. You are welcome here, but please do not cause trouble among the others already here. That includes any of Therthis family who comes here."
For the first born of Therthis' heirs was coming now, Starlit Midnight, the black unicorn stallion with the white wings. He was the first of Moonslight's foals, and he would protect her and Freedom.

Her black body moved swiftly over the grasses, a small black shadow in tow. Her black and maroon tresses floated behind her on the breeze and together, they were nothing more than the picture of dark perfection. Their pace slowed as they approached the gathering group and she snorted, sensing no hellions other than herself and her son. As she made her way towards Thowra, however, the presence of another hellion reached her and she sneered. Temia's daughter was here. Hatred poured from her every pore as she lay eyes on Candra but she would keep her self in check until something drastic happened. "Thowra," she said, lowering her head in greeting. Venom did the same, though he extended his dark gray wings as he lowered his head.
--
Quietly, he entered the group, his head high, searching for Thowra. The silver stag with the white face looked rather bulky and cumbersome but he moved swiftly and silently, approaching the familiar king and nodding in greeting to his friend. "Good to see you again, Thowra." he said, smiling. He looked over his shoulder, wondering if Kanchana or Tiana were going to follow him here. In a way he hoped that they did not for he feared an argument could break out between all of those gathered here.
--
Her form was white as she entered behind her king, her love. She seemed to float across the air like an angel, which she closely resembled. Shattered stuck to Kiambu's side and looked around curiously, taking in all the new scents and all the new faces. The beautiful mare looked to her king and smiled, glad that she had decided to come with him. But then a scent struck her, full on, and her mood instantly changed. She frowned and her usually light and cheery lavender eyes turned dark purple and cloudy. The mare snorted and stepped away from Kiam, her eyes searching. And then there she was, her mother. Armada was here.

It was not in particular that Candra had come to cause trouble between the herds, but she had truly wanted to see Blade's blood smeared upon the ground. The almost jovial attitude that surrounded her as she crinkled her nose to smell that wretched scent - the scent of that pathetic stag and his herd. "Therthis," she hissed, whipping her crown around just to see one of the betrayals of the hellion race. The princess rotated her well muscled form to face them both head on. Her cold blue eyes filled with hate and rage as they both approached, the foul creatures. It was almost as if she could not smell their singular scents, for the tainted one of the ebony stag lay upon them both.
What are they doing here? she asked herself, rolling her eyes furiously at them. "Scum," she muttered to herself as they passed. It was said just loud enough so that they would be sure to hear it. Candra smirked under her breath, looking down to both of them. Now, she was taller than them both even though she lacked experience in fighting. The princess guessed herself well enough off though, for she had tortured many slaves in her days at Inferno Plains.
Another scent wafted into the nostrils of the dark princess as she lifted her perfectly sculpted crown. Betrayal she thought as her eyes scanned the hills just to see that pathetic queen, Shattered, moving down them. "Armada," she hissed, looking over to the impure fae. "Looks like your pathetic daughter decided to show up," she snarled, waiting to see what the filthy herd mare said.
--
Kiam turned to see his dearest queen, Shattered clambering over the hills and down to where they stood. The king of Ciera nuzzled her soft, silvery neck gently before sensing her vibe. "Is something wrong, m-?" he asked, cutting his words off at the last minute when a prominent scent struck him. Armada he thought, instantly moving to a different location, on the opposite side of where she was. Kiambu wanted to get Shattered as far away from Armada as he possibly could.
The king hoped that he could give her some sort of advice that could help in this situation, but there was none. The leader of the plains would most likely notice their appearing in Vandin. Then again, Armada did not know that her daughter had been with him and had been his queen. "Don't worry," he said softly. "Perhaps she will not notice," he said, not wanting any trouble at the meeting.

"Enough, Candra. There is no need for talking that way among us all," Thowra said, looking at the daughter of his own enemy. She knew that he could send her away from the gathering easily, if it were not for the fact that he knew that she wanted nothing to do with his brother. Then he looked at the others. "Armarda, good to see you again and you as well, young Venom, Cadifor my old freind, Shattered, Kiambu, Starlit Moon."
For the young mare had moved in after Cadifor, unknown to her king until she stepped into the light. "Thowra." She moved towards Cadifor

Cadifor smiled as he noticed that Starlit Moon had followed him in. His eyes rested on the spitfire mare that was named Candra. An exasperated sigh escaped him, for these meetings could never be peaceful as they should be. Cadifor shook his massive head and turned towards the commotion, hoping he would not need to try and step in.
--
Tension radiated off of Armada as her eyes shot to Candra and heard what she said. But for a moment it did not register that she was speaking of Shattered. She didn't have another filly so who else would the deranged mare be referring to? "You know Candra, I could have liked you; but only if I never heard you speak." Her white eyes glared down at the mare. Armada was perhaps nearly a hand taller than Candra, though it was not a great different. She held her head high and her white eyes glowed furiously as she stared at the princess. But after a moment she turned her gaze to the crowd and spotted a white mare walking with Kiambu. She smelled like her daughter but she did not look like her. Shattered had been gray the last time Armada saw her.
As soon as she noticed that Shattered was with a normal stallion, anger surged through her veins. She looked down at Venom and then to Candra. "Stay here," she hissed, telling Venom to stay near either Thowra or Candra. The dark queen made her way over to her daughter, her eyes glowing darkly. "Daughter," she stated shortly. "I see you've mixed yourself up with that crowd," A heavy snorted was released from her nostrils as she openly showed her disgust for her daughter's choice of a non-hellion.

The earth hued stag stepped in front of Shattered as he saw the ebony fae coming towards them. Kiambu, the king of Ciera, had no fear towards dark hellions, but he was worried about his queen with Armada being near. Obviously, she had not known at all that her daughter had even been with a stallion, let alone to be his queen. Like mother, like daughter. They were both meant to be in power. Armada was displeased with her choosing, and it was expected. Kiam was nothing special, and all he had ever offered her was his heart. She would not see that, he could tell.
"Greetings, Armada," he said, watching her closely and then turning his storm eyes back to Shattered. Candra and her had been close to an argument, but that seemed to have died down for the moment. For now, she'd be here, speaking with them. Things would stay civil between the three of them, for Kiam would not let them get too interesting. He knew how hellions liked to fight at times. Shattered was not like that, but from what he had heard about Armada, she definitely was.

The flaming fae walked in, her wings folded neatly, her head raised high. She carried herself regally, the horn upon her head shining like a beacon of light in the 'darkness'. Her orange-stained bodice glowed brightly, as she halted at the edge of the clearing. The beautiful mare surveyed the crowed, hiding a snarl of disgust as she looked at the pathetic assortment of creatures that had gathered.
Emotionlessly, Sara glanced at each of them in turn. A few she recognised... Thowra was one. Flames flickering on her nape, her gaze rested on one. A black stag he was, winged, but with no flames. Yet, something about him did not feel right. Curiously, she watched, not deigning to announce her presence to the group.
Who was he? ------------------------------------------------------------- The gentle chestnut fae walked in, her body still bearing the scars she had obtained while in Blade's herd. The stallion who accompanied her had told her that her daughter was here - So here she was. Pausing, Celeste looked warily around, finally spotting her daughter in their midst. Her grown-up daughter.
Hope, too, had spotted her mother. Whinnying with joy, she leaped towards her, tresses flaring happily. The two mares touched noses, her joy evident on both their faces. Mother and daughter were reunited at last.
