Sulfur stopped, sniffing. There was a new scent or two. He wondered what had happened in his absence. He sat upon the open plains, his tail swishing to and fro. He turned his head as two walked towards them. Both were two years old, his children, Savannah and Fallen. Sadly, the third with him had died. "Is this it?" Savannah asked, looking around. He nodded and noticed that Fallon wasn't really interested in being here. He sighed, he had been having trouble with finding his mate, Nula, and the other three of his children who were with her, and now Fallon was acting up. "Come on." He said, and took off at a run, picking up the scents of the wolves within Africa, he heard Savannah and Fallon following quickly. "Maybe Dakota knows something.. If she's still here."

Nula stuck closely to Sulfur's side, though was careful not to annoy him with her closeness. He was her mate, but it seemed it was a one sided relationship. Her loving him, and he just wanting her to be happy. Or at least, she hoped that was why he was doing this. Her three eldest pups; Rani, Eitri and Iridessa stuck closely to her side and eyed there other siblings run with there father. "Sulfur?" she asked quietly, sniffing the air and smelling several unfamilar scents "are you sure its safe here?"

Anger was boiling in her veins as Dakota prowled through the lands. She had lost her title as queen but had been permitted to stay. Though she remained sour towards the whole ordeal, she knew that she had been granted a great opportunity in Crepusculum and Draighean. She was to be a stalker, an assassin, something that she had already had enough training to do. And Draighean training her would only make her better, for he was the best. Though a great result had come from the confrontation with Crepusculum, she was trying to remain on the positive side, looking at things from an optimistic position inside of remaining bitter.
A familiar sent came to her nose and she kept herself from snarling. The male that had left her in time of crisis to be with the sorry excuse for a mate that he had claimed. Bitterness towards Sulfur now entered her mind as she turned to head in their direction. There were pups with them, as well, which only added to her attitude. Her tail was high in dominance, for she was higher in rank than these two. They were considered outsiders to her now, and they would be treated as such. Though they would not get the normal demand of their purpose for trespassing, she knew exactly how to handle herself.
Dakota's adrenaline was already pumping as she came to a halt in front of them. "So, you have returned.." she said, her tone flat and emotionless. Her black eyes stared blankly ahead, between the two wolves and their pups, looking at none in particular. This was a new situation to her. At first, she had thought that her and Sulfur could have had something; perhaps he could have been king to rule by her side. But it was all gone now, for he had chosen a female who was below her. And she would never forgive him for that.

Sulfur stopped as Dakota appeared. He could smell her anger and frustration. He looked back at his family, signalling them to wait while he went and talked to her. He stepped forwards alone, stopping a few paces away. He bowed his head and sniffed. "You.. The land has been taken.." He said quietly. "I'm sorry.." He expected her to yell at him, or even attack him. He wouldn't defend himself, he waited.
"Dad.." Savannah spoke. She turned and whispered to Fallon. "Wasn't she the one that he chose to give up, so she could have the chance for someone better?" Fallon shrugged. "Maybe." They seemed to be ignoring Nula and the others, after being separated from them for so long, they didn't really know how to act around them. They just nodded their heads in acknowledgement, keeping their distance.

Gloriously, she stepped into the clearing, holding her crown in victory. Recently, the multicolored fae had conquered all that lived here, only allowing the friends of her greatest assassin to stay. A viscous grin held itself upon her features as the golden eyes of death viewed over the happy family. It wouldn't be very happy for long, for happiness was not a right that anyone but the supreme rulers of the land were allowed. With her long muscular pillars moving more quickly, she stood before them.
"Didn't you know?" she smirked, listening behind her for any sign of her king coming to greet the intruders. "This land is mine....and all of you are below me, my king, and even her," she said, giving the ebony assassin a rather condescending look. Crepusculum wondered if they would pick up on the point that the lands were becoming as tainted as their hearts were. She wondered if they would need a personal escort out of the lands or if she would simply tear them to shreds. Unfortunately, the pups had grown too old to taint; their parents had probably already taught them not to bother with the queens like herself. They would pay.
Snickering to herself, Crepusculum moved up to the pathetic female and her pups before referring back to Dakota. "What are they to you, Dakota?" she asked coldly, noticing in her mind that this was the first time she had ever cared about her opinion. "Of course, you hate scum like her," she said precisely, edging closer to Nula. Crepusculum looked to Sulfur. "You know, you could have done much better," she said with a sigh. "Oh well. Your loss," she murmured, letting him know that he could have been a famed assassin like his mate would have been if he hadn't betrayed her. Now, to the queen, they were all scum and needed to be properly disposed of.

Dakota held her head high, though she was still small, and looked at Sulfur, not even bothering to give him a response. His apology was not accepted as far as she was concerned. Not yet, anyways. A smirk settled on her face as she heard her queen approach. Though Crepusculum clearly dwarfed the ebony female, Dakota was not frightened to stand by her side, for they had an understanding and Dakota respected Crep and hoped that she returned the feeling. The only thing Dakota feared at this moment was Draighean emerging from the shadows. She knew that he would not take kindly to this...family, being in his lands.
At Crepusculum's question, Dakota shrugged. "I'm not exactly sure what he is to me, anymore, but I am quite positive she was never anything to me." Her blank green-yellow eyes looked from one to the next, wondering just how this was going to end. It was indeed his loss. Dakota had gained quite a multitude of skills from Draighean and there was still an infinite amount of learning to do from him. He was very skilled, and she held an even greater respect for him now than she ever had. Dakota would hate to see Draighean fight, for it would definitely be over instantly. Soon, she would be respected and feared, though not as much as her king and queen. Powerful, she would be, though she already was, but even more powerful would she become.

The answer to all questions laid upon the face of the ruler, looking from fae to brute. Crep felt her almighty power, towering above all of them. The lands had changed - even she had changed in ways that could never be explained. The power of their empire was not tangible by any one group, especially not these bits of scum. Of course, they would all be destroyed or enslaved eventually. One by one, their kind would come to power, perhaps, even above the rule of the horses. Alliances with them did not matter, for they would kill if they needed to. They would lead a war against the good, and this time, they would not lose.
Crepusculum almost scoffed at the words of her assassin but instead let a sigh purse her lips. Was she really thinking about giving him another chance? All this time, the queen had guessed that she had felt some sort of compassion for the one that abandoned her. It really had gotten to her. Pleasing, that was, just for a brief moment. Hatred filled the golden eyes of Crepusculum, along with the slightest bit of curiosity. She wondered how many ways there was to slowly and painfully torture someone into death. They surely deserved it for daring to show up on her land.
Knowing she had done nothing except keep her death filled gaze on them, she surveyed the pups. Just as pathetic as their parents. "Fine," she muttered. "You don't die, but you will pay a price for intruding," she smirked, sending a wave of hatred right toward the female. "She belongs to us, as well as your daughter," Crepusculum said easily, letting the sound resonate as her command was complete. Their army had begun, and anyone living on the land would help them to take the females or pay great consequence afterward.

Savannah stepped forwards, and sat beside Sulfur. "What does she mean that I belong to her?" She whispered, yet she got no response. She watched as Sulfur turned and walked towards Fallon. She wondered why Sulfur never spoke to their mother, had he ever loved her? Or had he just abandoned any hope after being separated from them so long?
Savannah turned and gave Dakota and Crep a suspicious look. She turned to see Fallon snarling at Sulfur and walk past him to stand beside her. "They're not going anywhere with you, they're not yours to claim." The two year old announced. She watched as he bounded forwards, to actually try and attack Crep.

Crepusculum chuckled at the astonished young fae's words as she moved closer to her. It was a move used mostly on her opponents to make them uncomfortable and to worry them. It had worked extremely well on Dakota, when they were at war. Now, with the truce, she would agree that all females belonged to Draighean to use in any way that they wished. "It means: you will bare the kings' pups, be my slave, and be trained for our army of wolves," she snickered, looking from Sulfur to her brother for a reaction.
"What is this? Defiance?" asked the queen, quickly stepping out of the way of his attack. One so young and inexperienced didn't stand a chance against her instantaneous reflexes. He was so young, and he was just no match for her superiority. Crep couldn't be bothered teaching this young brute a lesson, so simply she looked to Dakota. Hopefully, she would be paying attention well enough to guess what the dark fae wanted. "How about you teach this foolish brute a lesson, Dakota? It will give you a chance to practice your new skills," Crepusculum smiled, a threat in her eyes as she glared at the male.

Dakota snarled as she watched Sulfur leap forward at her queen. Crepusculum stepped out of the way, of course, but anger was boiling in her. Why had he chosen to attack? Did he want to die? She stepped forward and looked at Sulfur, her eyes flaming with anger and hurt. No one would disrespect her new queen, especially with the respect she showed as it is. Respect was a hard thing to come by for Dakota but for some reason, Crepusculum had earned it.
As Dakota stood between Crepusculum and Sulfur, she locked eyes with the male, silently telling him to just submit so she wouldn't have to fight him. She didn't want to fight him; they had a lot to talk about and she wanted him to stay here. It was slightly inconvenient that Nula was here, whom Dakota was presuming to be his mate, as well as the offspring, but she would handle that later. For now, she just wanted to have Sulfur know that she was on his side for the time being, and she wanted him him to stay, no matter how angry she should be with him.

Nula looked to Sulfur, her eyes full of worry and sighed. It seemed he wasnt speaking to her. Pushing slightly away from him and in front of the children who still listened to her, she growled at the words. No one threatened her pups. "We came seeking a home," she spat "but if we are not welcome...I think I should leave." She looked at Sulfur once more, noticing the other fae's gaze, and sighed once more. Her green orbs turned to look at her children, thinking what was best for them and not her. "Suflur...I am leaving, do what you wish," she said quietly and turned to pad off towards the trees, Rani, Eitri and Iridessa close behind. She sat at the edge of the forest, waiting and seeing what Sulfur would do.

The queen dug her razor sharp claws into the ground, ready to get balance in case there would be a chase. It would be no more complicated than killing a rabbit. Timid wasn't even a word to describe the pathetic female that had come with her mate. He was lucky she had enough mercy to spare his life for another day. For his foolish decisions, they would pay instead of him. That would hurt him worse than Crep ever could physically, if he had any heart. From what she saw now, Sulfur couldn't care less what happened to Nula or Savannah.
"You are forbidden to leave," she commanded to the female strictly, wanting to feel the blood trickling between her stained ivories. The weakling would be a prize to Draighean, the other ruler of the land. Crepusculum took off like a speeding bullet, catching up to her in moments as she sat upon the leafy foliage beneath her. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way," she mumbled under her panting. Small bursts of great energy often left her breathless, for she was built more for stamina. It was a constant reminder to train more, to feel more pain. Nula would feel even more pain than just the aches of sprinting for miles once they had finished with her.
Crepusculum would begin the duel for another member of their pack, a simple slave. They were important, in their ways, though. Just like Dakota, they contributed something to the pack that the queen was not willing to even though the slaves were very much so below her. Hopefully, Dakota would take care of Savannah while Crepusculum took care of Nula. After that, Dakota would either become Sulfur's queen, or he would perish. It need not matter the reason why, whether he just disappeared in the night, Dakota killed him, or he was killed by the king and queen of the lands.

OOC : Lol Epona, Fallon attacked Dakota, not Sulfur.
Fallon hit the ground as Sulfur took him around the neck and shoved him to the floor. He turned and looked for Savannah, he had to speak to her and Fallon, alone. But the were no doubt that it would be possible. Sulfur turned and stared at Dakota as Savannah found her way to them. Even if he didn't really love them, he still had to protect them. He lowered his body and snarled, if she wanted to take Savannah away from him, then he would fight her, no matter what she meant to him. "Fallon." He said under his breath.
Fallon nodded, knowing not to waste his time on Dakota, and go and help Nula. He sped off, as he did well in speed and accuracy. He was just there to annoy Crep away from Nula and her pups, as he was terrible at using his strength in the way needed of him, like attacking or hunting. Fallon snarled and turned to stand in front of Nula. He shoved them backwards, snarling at them to move. At the slightest hint that she was to attack, he would move and dodge it, as he could match her speed easily.

Crepusculum smirked to her victim, inching closer and closer with every shortened stride. Suddenly, she flicked a hark back, revealing the sound of the young fool making his way toward her. Reasoning always seemed to work with young ones. What made him any different. "So...Fallon - or whatever your name is. You have two choices. You give up, or you die. Simple as that," she stated in a clean cut manner, confirming it in her eyes. Crepusculum never bluffed; she meant every word she said. As an offender, stalking horses and wolves alike was her specialty.
In this game, their reflexes were their biggest asset. That - and speed. Over a distance, she could probably win, but over a sprint, they would definitely outrun her. Crep wasn't going to let on about it though, in case they did try something. Intelligence didn't seem to run in the family though, so she was pretty sure she'd be fine in this small battle. Crepusculum came closer to both, so that the brute wouldn't take it as an attack. It looked like she was playing her game of making them uncomfortable again, but there was more to it. At the last moment, Crep lunged at the back of Nula's neck, hoping to hit the skin and drag her down.

"No!" Nula growled, her own rump raising into the air to defend her family as Fallon jumped in the middle of them all. She was surprised to see her son here, it seemed months since she had seen him up close. "Thank you Fallon," she whispered, pushing her other pups back further. She had no doubt that Fallon could and would protect them, it seemed Sulfur had trained him. With one last sorrowfilled look, she turned to Sulfur before padding off into the trees. If he still wanted her, he would find her. Until then, she was alone.
OOC: poor Nula...tehe
