"How about neither." It was a smart-ass remark. He took it as every move she made was to attack. He saw the attack at the last minute, however, and made a petty attack to stop her, in this case, smashing in to her. He jumped as she lunged, his jaws fixing upon her snout, and used his weight to move her, of course, it didn't have much effect. He was too light to actually move her a few steps, he just hoped to move her head a bit. He turned instantly, using his hit and run technique, and pushed off of her body with his feet, landing beside Nula again. He was pleased when they moved. He stood in her pathway and snarled again.

Crepusculum stood tall as the smaller wolf attempted to push her, but instead, it left her looked victoriously at him. She wondered what he really wanted to accomplish by fighting her. Did he really want to die? Of course not, for he was just a pup - and only the insane asked for death. "You just gave up your right to choose," she snarled, snapping her ivories at his chest. A little blood drawn would teach him a lesson since it wasn't too late to brainwash him, to make him like them.
The multicolored fae budged a couple steps when he pushed off of her, but it didn't hurt. Mostly, he was annoying as all hell. Crep ran at him, like she was going to make a rash move of jumping over him to get to Nula. Instead, she slid to a stop before him, clawing at his neck. "You lost," she murmured, not looking back for a moment. No doubt, his father and sister would follow, if Dakota hadn't finished them off first. The sister was the only advantage to the pack; she could carry the blood of Draighean, the king of all wolves. With numbers, they would take over the larger stupider beasts and the smaller wolves.

He yelped as blood was drawn from his chest, but it was replaced with a growl. He lay, curled up, in an effort to protect his neck. He chuckled as she told him that he had lost. "Maybe I've lost this fight.. But y'know, I wouldn't be fighting for an old she-wolf, and an infertile pup." He raised his legs to protect his head, and in a split-second took off. Yes, he was fast, very fast, as he had used the time when she was going to strike again, to get away. He turned and snarled at her. "I'm fighting to protect my family. And what? What are you fighting for?" He asked, a little interested.

ooc ;; oops, must have misunderstood that part.
Dakota snarled as Sulfur knocked Fallon from his attack. Rage pulsed through her assassin veins and she turned to stare at Sulfur, the male she had thought would be her mate at one point. Now, there was little doubt that it wouldn't happen. She sighed inwardly and her shoulders dropped a bit, feeling emotionally defeated, but the anger kept her going.
Her eyes shot to where Nula had left and she heard the words exchanged between Fallon and Crepusculum. She would find the female if she got away. Yes, she would find her, and make her beg for mercy. Her heart ached. Never had she wanted to give it away. Dakota kept herself locked up tightly for her own protection. The one time she let her guard down and invited another in to her life, even a little, she was shattered to pieces. A silent snarl settled on her curled lips as she returned her gaze to Sulfur. "How dare you come back here? With her?" Hurt resounded in her words, it was hard to hide, though she tried very hard.
At the edge of the forest, a large shadow appeared behind Nula and her pups. "You are not going anywhere," said the dark, edgy voice. Draighean had finally come. His enormous black and white form towered over Nula and the smaller pups. They were like ants. He wanted to step on them to see if they would squish like bugs but he knew they held greater purpose. His maroon eyes looked to Crepusculum, silently apologizing for taking so long to get to the chaos. But now that he was here, it would be handled. Quickly and possibly...in a deadly manner.

Fallon's mouth fell open with shock as he saw Draighean. How could a wolf be so.. Huge? He was almost paralyzed with fear for a second, and turned to snarl at him, he wanted to protect his family, he knew they should run, but he couldn't help everyone. "Nula!" He cried, looking back at Crep. He knew there was a large possibility of death. He moved quickly, now showing his true speed, it was impossible for any to keep up now, and it would be so easy to dodge their attacks, but he could only keep it up for so long.
Sulfur snarled. He did not care for coming back anymore, he would go, and go only with Savannah and Fallon.. If he could save them. He turned to stare at Savannah. "Run.. Don't come back." He commanded her, he watched, pleased, as she did as she was told. He knew that she was scared, now.. She would be safe. He turned and snarled at Dakota again. "Would you have rather me have pups with you, and they become trained to fight, just to be a sacrifice.. For their cause?! To be slaughtered in the end, to kill mercilessly?!" He asked her.

Dakota snarled angrily at his words and stepped closer, so her nose was right below his chin as she stared up at him. "I did what I had to do to survive." She said sharply, pointing out the fact that he had left her. The heart in her chest ached to beg him to stay but her heart had also hardened and her mind was set on not being hurt again. "I kill no one, and I do not plan on doing so," she said in a quiet voice so none other than he would hear. She wanted him to stay, to be her only escape to sanity around these other insanely power-hungry wolves. She wanted to escape, but knew that if she left, she would die. She wanted to go with him, but knew her heart would only be broken again as it had before. At that thought, she growled to herself, closing her eyes tightly to fight off the pain that was seeping in to the pit of her stomach.

"You wish to kill me though, don't you. You obey them, and try to capture my pups, and watch them kill them. You do nothing, I am trying to save them. But.." He growled. "They have done nothing and deemed to death. You.." He snarled and stared with hatred. "Do not care do you." He was already judging that she would step aside if they were her own. He turned his back on her and ran towards Crep and Draighean. He jumped, and attacked Draighean, leaving Dakota behind.

Her eyes watered with tears, something she had never felt before. She had thought he was gone and never coming back. If he hadn't have shown back up, this wouldn't be happening right now. The anger quickly disappeared as he vanished towards the others. Dakota wanted desperately to call after to him, to tell him she would go with him if only he would take her. Instead, she raced after him and jumped as well, slamming in to his side and knocking him to the ground. She lay there, on top of him, and whispered, "Leave and I will follow you." in his ear. Her eyes were pleading as she got up and backed a few steps away. She waited, waiting for him to run, so she could tell her leader that she would chase them down. She would do her job, and assassinate the traitors her self.

Tears lay in Sulfur's eyes as he stared at her. "He'll die.." He whispered. "He ca-" His body was shaking, he wanted to go with her so desperately.. But he wanted to save Nula and his pups as well. He pushed Dakota off of him and nodded to her, he would leave Nula and the pups. Abandonment. He felt so guilty, that he couldn't have done more. He turned to watch Nula, Fallon and the others one last time, and he ran. He heard Fallon cry out to him, but ignored it.
Fallon's body hit the ground. He was breathing barely. Confusion had filled him, why had everyone gone.. Why had they just.. Left him? Did they want him to die? He wondered, they must have. His body sighed, and he waited for death, his eyes closed.

Nula's paws skidded out from under her, barely stopping in time from crashing into the huge monster of a brute. Her pups, her life, hid behind her and stared with wide eyes at the creature. Her eyes darted to where Fallon laid, worry clear in her mind and heart, but she had to look after herself and the others first.
About to speak, but cut off by Fallon's heartfelt cry, she looked over her shoulder to see her Sulfur walk away. With that other wolf. "Suflur!" she cried, unable to believe that he would do as such. Yes, she had doubted that he had ever truly loved her. But bring her here, with his pups, and then leave her to die. She couldnt even believe he was that heartless.
A sob racked her body, but still she stood tall. "Let us pass," she said to the wolf "I will give you anything, just let them live..." If it came to it, she would fight for there safety. Her times, at war with Sulfur were still fresh in her mind. She would fight yes, but against this monster she didnt have a chance.

Crepusculum wore a dainty smirk as she looked back to the king of the lands. With the two of them, mass destruction and chaos were a definite. Blood lust rose even more in her veins as she gave the small family a savage look. There was nowhere to flee, nowhere to hide this time. The only thing left for them was the cold, hard realization of death. The queen raised her crown, wondering if there was any possible way to manipulate them to her advantage more than she had already. They were useless unless they wanted to cooperate. Threats and pain were the only consequences of misbehavior. They were worse than death.
So frail was he, with his thin youthful body, now tattered and torn. She could see forced breaths, the continuous up and down movement of his sides. It wouldn't be moving much longer. Crep walked up to him with her massive strides, stopping right before him and looking down upon him with her golden eyes. "There is a heavy burden to pay for anyone that challenges me," she laughed malevolently, condescendingly looking at his face. It was so much better to let him suffer and die, even though the temptation to just end him right there was almost unbearable. "Your mother will be an excellent prize for Draighean," Crepusculum murmured softly, hoping to add to the slow torment. She looked behind her just to hear the pleas of the mother; those wouldn't save her now - nothing would.
"You're weak," Crep hissed, stepping tensely up to the female that they had captured. "You can offer nothing to us but your slavery," she informed. If she trained to be a spy, she could have been some use. Possibly, she was too old for that. The most Crepusculum could do was train the pups for evil. After being used like a broodmare, she'd be tossed to the side like all the others, like her son. "If he loved you, he would come back. Soon, even he will be dead. Then, there will be nothing to run back to," she smirked, remaining to-the-point with her words. Sometimes, wolves of this intellect just couldn't get the point. Intelligence would come to her just from living in the now dreaded land of Africa. No creature would dare to wander too close who were not allied with Crepusculum or Draighean. Horses, pups, wolves, and foals were all fair game, as far as they were considered. Size didn't matter for the prey when it was outmatched by the predator.

Draighean towered over Nula and looked to Crepusculum. He rather enjoyed a game of chase. Perhaps they could let the three go, and find them later. He licked his lips. It was much like predator and prey. Except it would more like master and slave. The dark brute laughed. It would be a game, a wonderful game to help him sharpen his skills. "Let the pups go, except the male," Draighean suggested, hoping Crepusculum would know what he meant. Another plus to letting them go would be the widespread fear that would become chaotic at the pups' tails of the massive beasts who were to control this kingdom.
Dakota watched as Sulfur left, though she knew he felt badly for leaving his so-called family. It pleased her slightly that he had done what she asked, though it still bothered her that Sulfur had had pups with that filth in the first place.
As Sulfur bolted in to the distance, Dakota snarled in false anger, though it was very convincing and none would think otherwise. She looked to Draighean and Crepusculum. Draighean nodded, giving her the OK to chase the male. The king knew she wanted revenge, and it pleased him greatly that she was going to finish what she had started. Dakota smirked and took off after Sulfur, a pleasant smile forming on her face as she raced away from the large wolves. She would return, eventually, but right now she needed to sort things out with Sulfur.

Tears filled her eyes, despite not being the crying type. Her and three of her children in return for her son. Fallon.
Her soft gaze flickered over to Fallon, trying to make a choice. Finally, she looked to her other pups. As one they nodded, not expecting her to choose there lives over one of there blood. It just wasnt fair. She couldnt abandon him like his father had. "You shall not have my son, I will stay, but let my pups go free," she tried to plea. "You can do whatever you want to me, just don't hurt them," she said, closing her eyes. Her fate was decided, he just needed to agree.
Idriessa whimpered lightly, nose in the air as she eyed her mother. She was giving up her life, her freedom for them. Her green orbs looked at her brother, one she had not seen since they were born. "Fallon?" she whispered, trying to see if he was okay.

Fallon found his feet. "I'm fine.." He huffed. He turned to look at Nula. "No. Just go with them." He told her. He was willing to take Nula's place, if she rejected than he would make her go, by force. He wanted her to go and find Savannah, to make sure that she was alright. He had watched his father abandon them, and now hated him. To him, he was nothing but a weakling, a fool, he was a good parent.. But sometimes he chose to do the wrong thing.

Crepusculum nodded to the ebony assassin as she moved like a speeding bullet out into the distance. So well she had learned from the masters of all conflict, verbal and physical. It was rather annoying seeing her leaving after all the hard work they had put into her. Not even the queen knew when she would return or if she would return. Most would consider themselves lucky just to escape the wrath of the African wolves, but no. Not the stupid little fae that was pleading for them to take her prisoner for the rest of her days - just to protect some pups that would die too when they were hunted down in the greatest battle of all time. Forces and troops would be needed from their side...but that wouldn't be too difficult. Wolves were drawn to power - all of them.
The queen snarled at the lowly fae as she commanded them not to take her son captive. How dare she? "When was it ever your place to tell us what to do? You should be grateful we're even letting you live. So go, bitch, go," she hissed, leaning down to the small female's harks just to whisper her threats. "You wouldn't want us to change our mind about killing your family.....would you?" she whispered, snickering to herself after rising back to her regal stance. Crep knew how angry, how sad she must be feeling. Dakota was truly the queen of Sulfur, anyways, not this petty thing that he had found wandering the scum lands.
