Cirrus Cinnamon I sighed as I walked through the glades, searching, always searching for the one who would bring me home to their lands. I had escaped from my owner by rolling under the fence, after they had forced me to carry a foal. Sadly, I knew i was pregnant, and though I would love the one who came from me this time, I longed for one i really wanted and had asked for. I was tiny and found the going hard, staring around me with wide eyes at things that seemed too big for a little mare like me.

The black stallion tossed his head, not searching for mares as he rarely had, merely wandering to make sure all was in order. He had his queen, that was enough. But any mare needing a safe place, a healthy home and family, he would welcome them with open arms. He trotted along the river, his legs high and graceful as he moved with ease.
He spotted her, the smallest mare he had ever seen and her well rounded belly. She was in foal? He blinked in suprise, wondering how such a small creature could carry a child without her belly dragging along the grounds. "Greetings Miss," he said coming to a pause, bowing his head and smiled kindly.

Cirrus Cinnamon I stared up as a huge black stallion appeared out of nowhere infront of me. I knew that I was probably not something to be seen every day, but I detested starers. That was not something I could handle.
However I smiled and said, "Greetings, stag." I wondered what this one wanted of me? It was a curious thing, how sweet I naturally was. Born wild then caught and tamed, now free again, no one would know that past.
This was the place that I felt truly at home, and no one was going to change that now.[/size]

"I am Ashton," he told her quietly, tossing his tail to flick away an annoying fly. He paused, as if searching for the right words. "You are well?" he asked, sounding as if he really cared. He paused once more, lowering his head so it was even with his. "I mean, you ar heavy with foal and alone.." he spoke gently "are you in seek of a home?"

"I used to run in a herd of my own choosing before men caught me. I was born a wild horse so I am tougher than the occassional horse that escapes from the men. I know the ways of these wild lands, Ashton king of all the horses."
Yes I knew who he was. Animals told me of him when I was coming this way. They told me many things, such as the troubles with the hell horses as well.
Also of one of Ashton's allies, whom even the men seemed to fear, though they did not fear Ashton himself. I knew these were not things i should speak of though.
"And yet I know who you are when I have not been here in my homeland for five long years. Such things I am sure are not the norm here."

Ashton watched her with soft eyes, trying to remember if he had ever seen this petie mare before. But it was clear if he had, he would of remembered. He wasn't surpirsed she knew his name, for all did. But for good or bad, he was still learning.
He paused before replying. "No, things are not norm here.." he said but stopped there, not wishing to discuss such things in open space. "Pray," he carried on "tell me your name."
