Erosaf I snorted as I danced through the clearings knowing the way to the place in my mind. The red rune like tattoos that covered a good part of my body glowed blood red in the sunlight against my black coat. Beams of red light danced from my red horn as I tossed my head. The sunlight illuminated the red strands in my mane and tails as well while the wind tossed them around.
Beauty I was and there was something about me that I knew would eventually draw other stags to me.
I snorted and started to graze near the river's head waters.

A dark colored stag trotted into the lands, looking around for a mare to call his own. Beauty was something he treasured, but it was not something he needed. His shining black coat was illuminated even more in the beautiful sunlight, and his whipcord flowed as he moved. All the muscles within his body were strong from his long travels as he walked to the river. His brightness would be sure to attract mares, but the last thing he wanted to do was break another heart.
While he had been traveling, he had met many beauties and befriended them. Each time, their hearts were broken, for he did not feel love towards them. Perhaps he was incapable of love, and perhaps the right fae had not come to him. He was only one fourth hellion, so he should be capable of emotion towards mares. Amani knew that he didn't think like a hellion, but he was not sure if any mare would want him after finding this to be true. And, surely, there weren't many hellion mares that were of a kind heart.

I continued my happy dancing movement, leaping into the river and trotting downstream. Half hellion I could only be and yet I had too much love in my heart to be like the other emotionless hellions I had grown up with.
My mother had had the same runes on her, though she was a unicorn. The only difference were that hers had been blue on her white coat.
The hellion parts of my aprearance were of my fire mane and tail and the glow of my blood red/silver horn.
Catching the scent of a stallion upwind from me, I stopped, spotting him.

Amani watched as he heard splashing in the river. It was a fae, he could smell. As he watched, she appeared, coming downstream to him. The fae looked like a dancer, gleeful and happy. A color of darkness with beautiful red rune swirls were placed on her figure. He noticed that she was different than most horses he saw daily. First, he could tell that she had hellion in her, more than himself. He was puzzled at this because most of the feminine hellion creatures had acted like the very devil himself.
As she came closer, he noticed that she had a horn with the coloration of blood red and silver upon it. At the next moment, he confirmed that she was at least part hellion because of her flaming mane and tail. Nothing stood out about him being part hellion though other than his height and his reluctance to fall in love. Perhaps this could be the time though. Amani would try his luck today, for he already thought that she was the most astonishing creature that he had ever seen in his days.
Amani couldn't resist coming up to speak with her. Oh how lovely she was, if her soul was pure as his was..things would be perfect. He let his sturdy pillars move instinctively in a two beated motion up to the fae. "Greetings," he said to the breath taking mare. There was no need to ask why she was here, for he knew. She came here to find a stallion that cared for her. Just the same reason as he came here, to find a mare to share his life and love with. He wasn't sure if he believed in love at first sight or even if she was a potential mate for him, but she seemed interesting, even at first glance.

The magic that seemed to flow from me, lit up much of my surroundings. I stopped to watch as the huge horse came towards him. Of course, he was part hellion. Not as heavily on that type as I was, but hellion none the less. His staggering hieght gave it away.
My molten silver eyes took him in, knowing that he would not be able to hurt me before I ran him through with my horn, should there be a need for such measures.
"Greetings, stag," I replied, horn glinting in the sunlight.

Amani watched as the fae got in a defensive position. This did not, in particular madden him at all like it would some hellions. He was in no rush with her, and he had no wish to harm her. He was sure that she was ready to kill him with her horn if he dared to challenge her. A tall fae she was and of quite interesting blood. One of her parents must have been unicorn and the other must have been pure hellion. She was different though. Not evil, it seemed.
Letting his guard down a bit, he watched her. "I am called Amani," he said. " It means desires in Arabic," he said, his baritone vocals flowing clearly and softly.

"Erona and Saphra are my parents. They call me Erosaf. My parents names translate as Magic and Hell. Saphra is Magic, Erona is Hell. I suppose you could say my name translates as Tainted Magic."
I sighed, lowering my head a little as he tried to convey that he was no enemy of mine. I laughed though, thinking such things was a hard thing to do. I was not a normal hellion.
"If you are thinking that I have hellion blood in me you would be correct. I take after the unicorn that my mother was more though. I am not someone who is bad tempered. What of you?"

Erosaf, he thought. An interesting name it was and obviously a combination of the two names of her parents. He wondered if she possessed any special characteristics as most unicorns do. His bloodlines were much different. "My mother was a Friesian mare, simple and beautiful but a slave to my father who was a half hellion yet as evil as one. My grand sire was the one who was pure hellion, and although he was intelligent, his evil led to his demise," he said.
It was true that he was a devil with a cold heart sometimes when others tried to hurt him both mentally and physically, but he was very nice to faes at first sight. If they were proved to be a fae that he at least favored some, he would speak with them. He wanted not to let them love him if he couldn't return the favor though. It felt wrong and dark, like his father was.
"No, I am not bad tempered unless I am provoked. I care not for fighting. I do have to say that I never forget when others have shown even a hint of evil to me, but I rarely do anything about it," he said, showing her a short explanation of how his mind works.

"Like all unicorn's I have my own gift, but it is not one that can be used against any other horse. It simply allows me to know when a horse or wolf is near that has any shread of evil in their hearts. If that happens to show, then I will kill them if they refuse to give up the evil in their hearts."
I smiled though.
"It is a rare thing when I actually have to kill another creature, though I have been known to kill when the need be. Men always flee when they see me coming, as they seem to guess that no rope will hold me. There is a magic to me that breaks any rope they send at me, as all i have to do is touch it with the tip of my horn."

Erosaf's gift was something of beauty and wonder. To be able to see into the heart of another was something to be admired about a horse. Amani talked of killing when there was a small bit of evil within. There was once a time though, when he was one of those with a hint of evil within. He did not give up his evil feelings at first, but he found himself and came out to be the stallion he is at this moment. He smiled back to her as she smiled of the wonder of bringing another horse to have all evil depart from themselves.
The fae lost him slightly as she talked of humans. Amani knew what they were and feared them on instinct, but he had never been threatened by them. Seeing them before, they had just left him alone, so he did not know much about their species. He knew that the horn of a unicorn was her most divine feature and it distinguished her as who she was. " Not one bothered me on my journeys around the world after I was kicked out," he said, thinking of the serene beauty of the world he had seen first hand and then to the evil of his father, making him leave as a yearling.

"Although my horn is certainly sharp at its point, i can will for it to not hurt someone if I touch them with it. That though only happens if I trust someone or they rather I rid them of the evil in their hearts once and for all. In a way I take their evil upon myself, and it dissappears when it comes in contact with my mind."
I smiled. There was no evil about this horse, though I could sense he had been once.

This was an amazing and uplifting that Erosaf could perform such miracles. She was so pure that the evil would go away? Amani knew not if he was even so pure at heart.
Amani was starting to notice finally that this mare was acting upon him much different than the ones in the past had done. He was able to speak with her without being drooled over and having a mare comment every five seconds on how handsome he was. He preferred her much more than he ever had the others. This was very good in his mind, and he noticed that there was emotion in his heart regarding her. The talk of her horn was very interesting, but he would like to know more about her before she came to these beautiful lands. "Which lands do you travel from?" he said, asking a general question.

"A land where normal looking horses such as yourself, though you are not a normal stallion would seem out of place. Hellions, pegusas, and unicorns were abundant there. The only thing I am yet to get from my parents are my wings, as my mother was also crossed with a pegusas. That will happen soon though."
Interesting how I had not been born with them. Not that it mattered for me. "Men were our freinds there, they did not try and capture us, we carried them willingly. The men that threaten these lands are so much more different, and every time one catches me, I have easily thrown them and then fled into the mist."

This land that she spoke of sounded extremely nice, yet there were probably tensions in the herds between the Unicorns, Pegasuses, and Hellions. "What causes a horse to get their wings?" he asked, with a longing for knowing. He decided he would also tell her what the lands that he lived in were like. "It was a place of beauty, yet those that resided in it were beautiful in every aspect other than their hearts. Hellions were all that my father accepted into his herd and his mares, who were pretty faes that had no special properties. He captured them from other surrounding herds, and when he was finished with them, he would kill them," he said, remembering that his father was in good terms with his mother, as she was one of his 'better' mares.
Amani thought of the humans living here. "I've had not that much experience with humans, but the ones here seem brutal and uncaring," he said, thinking of the horses that had told him of deaths caused directly by humans.

"Had I have been in that land, your father would have found my horn coming at him indeed. He sounds to be an evil horse. While there are sometimes tensions between hellion and unicorn, pairings such as my own parents prove that things do not always have to be that way for our kinds. "
I smiled.
"From the land I used to dwell in, you had to see a certain number of springs. This is the last winter before I get my wings. I look forwards to that to be honest. I used to long to be in the air with my mother. it looks so interesting to be up there."
