The wings must be with the coming of age. Erosaf would look even more magnificent with a set of wings upon her back. He nodded as she spoke, knowing that this was true. A few hellions in the herd loved their non hellion faes. They were not like Amani's father, who treated his lead like any other fae that he met.
"It's like being on top of a mountain except being over to move over the land and see everything," he said, remembering a Pegasus telling him this long ago. He had never flied, only heard about it and dreamed. It was not the unbeatable battle position that he loved about fliers, it was the beauty seen by their eyes that he could only see by walking and not being above something.

I sighed thinking about things a little more.
"My mother would have put it the same way, yes. Though you sort of see things as one of the wise old bald eagles would have done so."
I smiled though, thinking about the wings I would get. Jet black they would be, I could see them quite clearly in my mind. A foal though from me, might get lucky, if i had chosen a winged horse. but no foal would, unless I willed them to.

Amani imagined her with her flowing ebony wings, flying above the earth through the clouds. He smiled as she compared him to the magnificent bald eagles that soar through the sky. They were the true masters of the air. It was a huge compliment to be compared to those that knew all that was happening below and had seen many sights. They were the kings of the air. "You shall look magnificent with your wings," he said, imagining her great beauty once they had come. Erosaf was already the most beautiful creature he had been privileged to lay his eyes upon, but her wings would add majesty and grace to the already evident beauty that she possessed.

"One day, perhaps I shall become that way. No one knows what those eagles see though. They have stronger vision than I certainly do. Even those who are pegusas in my own homeland cannot deny that we see a lot less than the eagle."
I smiled though, knowing that even with that said and thought about, there was no doubt in my mind about such things. "At first when you came, there was a hint of evil on the wind, but I can see that it has not shown itself in you yet, while in my presence."

It was true, horse's vision was not as expert as the eagles. They could spot a small mouse or rabbit from high in the air. The horses could admire the beauty of the landscape though. "Yes, even on the ground, we can not see things far away, but up in the air, they can see all," he stated, agreeing with her.
As the talk about his personality came upon, he became slightly anxious. Amani hoped that she would not think him all the way evil if he told her of this. "It's true. I do indeed have a dark mind at times. I resent past happenings and can be cold and hating to some. To those I care about, they are my world, my life. To those who make me angry, they are the ones that shall be punished brutally. The only way to get at that point is to hurt someone I love or wrongly accuse me," he said, explaining his personality to her more deeply.

I thought about that for a moment. I knew that there was truth to his words.
"I will not hurt you, because I beleive your words." Wise I was when it came to dealing with those with a darker side.
"I never kill willingly. That is usually my last resort when it comes to things like this."
OOC: ick... muse dead from a recent death of a family pet...

Amani nervously looked around as she was interpreting what he had just said. How he hoped she believed his words and thoughts. He had no hatred at all for her, not in the slightest. Amani nodded as she said she would believe him about his darker side. He had killed some before but only because they threatened him first. These occasions were few and far between.
"It is a rare case that I will kill, and I do not simply kill just for the fun of it. It is a dreadful thing to take a beast of any kind's life from from him or her. Though I could never hurt a horse like you because I like you very much," he said, a smile tugging at his maw.
OOC: No worries. I don't have much muse either. Long horse show day at my favorite course. Equitation drains me. Dx

OOC: You show? Cool
Erosaf I sighed as I thought about that. "Even if you were going to, you wouldn't get a chance." I paused. "So where do you come from, stag?" I wanted to know more about him, seeing as he was learning a lot about me.
We were not the easiest of animals to get to know, those of my blood. I smiled though, and thought about things more often. "I already knew that you had your other side well under control. Else we would not have been talking now."
My horn flashed in the sunlight.

Amani nodded, agreeing with her that she was definitely more powerful than him. All he had on his side was stature. "Fair enough," he said neutrally. "The place I came from was with hellions and horses. The horses that lived in this place were only broodmares that had been captured or half hellions, which were the foals. Although my father was kinder than my grandfather, he was still evil. The actual terrain was mountainous and rocky. Winds blew at high speeds, and there was often snow at all times of the year, but it wasn't too bad. I was a prince, although banished before I could take over because my personality was not evil enough," he said sadly.

I sighed as I heard those things. "Sorry to say it, but had any of those horses crossed my path, things would not have gone well for them. I would not have been able to tolerate such things, and more than one would have died to my horn."
I smiled though. "Do you have a home in these areas? I have travelled through a few of the lands, and find one of the forest lands as a good place for myself. But the one place I will not go is the desert. I do not wish to speak with other hellions."

Amani thought of the great things that would have happened if the stallions who were doing these crimes of society were taken away. "I wish you had been there. All those mares and foals would have been freed instead of dead," he said with a sigh.
The stag smiled in return,"No, I have no lands at the moment to which I can call home. Which land were you interested in traveling to?," he asked, wanting a beautiful land that had plenty of fresh water and safety. Amani would never want to pick a fight with the hellions of the desert, for he had heard of them. Their leader had killed many and had a taste for blood with the adaptation of fangs to help him kill.

"Time means little to me, these days. I have heard that those of hellion and pegusas blood are swifter fliers than those who are of unicorn and pegusas blood. I have both in me, so there is no saying how fast I will be when I get my wings. Perhaps one day I shall pay a visit to that land of which you came from."
I smiled. I was not always willing to be the harbinger of death, but at times I was a needed face there. "There was one forest land, Snowy River Forest which I quite liked. Though I never saw the others that i smelt who dwell there, I doubt we would be turned away there. Hellion's do run there, but they are as different as I am to the hellions you likely knew, and to those of the desert lands."

Amani did not want her traveling hundreds of miles to find a long lost herd. It might be in vain if she did, for his sire was aging. "My father had endured twenty years already when I was born. I know not if he still is in existence. With four years added to that, he would be at least twenty four years," he said. It was not known if he had survived the herd fights and the stress of old age.
Amani smiled at the thought of living in a river location with many other horses. "That sounds wonderful. I believe I've heard of that land, and from what I've heard, there are many others living there," he said happily. The stag guessed that they'd be accepted because there were other hellions present.

I smiled as i thought about that. "Hellion's I know have lived to at least thirty years old. None but unicorns can defeat them, not even a pegusas." I smiled. "He is likely to be still alive."
I paused.
"Thowra may welcome us, because like him, he is only a half hellion. His father is pure hellion, but there is no evil about him."

Amani lingered on the thought that he had perished and that all the mares had escaped. He knew that it was far from true most likely. His father was a good fighter and very hard to defeat. Experienced he was. "I can only hope...." his voice trailed off as he thought about it. Amani hoped that a unicorn came and destroyed all the evil that surrounded the area. He sighed as he thought of all evil being destroyed. How wonderful the world would be if he or any other stag had not a trace of evil in their souls. This would never be though, and there would always be a menace around every turn.
Thowra was indeed a kind stallion. "Yes, I have met Thowra, and he welcomes us," he said nicely. Of course, there would need to be talks of the alliances made so that Amani did not get into any fights with the herds that he was friends with. The stag hoped that Thowra's herd was in alliance with the evil hellions of the desert, for the last thing Amani wanted was a war between hellions.
