A light reddish hue she was, more like a natural crimson color. It was mid spring now, in the middle of the change of seasons. Spring had always been her favorite, for she never really liked the extreme heat or cold. This place was nicer than most, but it was a shame she couldn't live within it. The river was gurgling and splashing onto the muddy banks where horses were standing in it, staying cool while they waited for their lover. Smaller streams ran into it, more pure and clean. They were glistening with purity; little bits of ice were floating around in some of them. Sometimes, it snowed in spring, but there wasn't a chance of that now. Everything was just beginning to melt!
The young fae grabbed a juicy red apple off of a nearby tree, savoring it. What kind of stag will I draw? she asked herself looking into a crystal clear stream. Little ripples blurred her reflection, but she could still see herself. Only one thing she found, and that was that she looked the same as always! A blaze covered much of her bright face, and three of her legs what ivory patches on them. It wasn't much that made her distinct to any other fae, and she would go with anyone nice unless he was a demon or hellion. She steered away from them quite a bit. Flames weren't attractive to her either, and she'd rather not want them on her foal.
The goddess walked in between two leafy trees with pink blossoming flowers growing upon them. Their trunks were thin, so they must be young, like her. "Hello?" she called softly into the forest, hoping and dreading at the same time that someone would hear her. Some waited for days, and she would if that's what it would take.

Thowra
In the darkness of the night, In the fury of the storm, Witht he silver mark of freedom, The spirit was born. The silver stallion moved through the trees along the Alaknanda river, knowing that somewhere here was the mare that he wanted. Sure he had not been able to claim many of late, but that was fine for him. He was a patient horse though he knew he was full hellion. Today though the flames were gone and he seemed like any other non hellion stallion. There was no doubt that he was one of the more gentle and friendly hellion horses, as opposed to his full brother, Blade of Flames. More than once this had caused trouble between his terra, Snowy River Forest and Blade of Flame's homeland, Misty Mountains.
Coming upon a tree with pink blossoms in it, he spotted a newcomer to the river. Light red, but almost crimson she was and he knew that there was something about her that drew him towards her. Maybe it was that he did not want her being captured by Exile, Blade of Flames or Donovan. All she would be to them was a slave whereas in his home, all were treated equally. The loss of his Queen, Boon Boon had affected him more than you would have known. She had been with him for so many springs and now he was searching for a replacement....
“Greetings Fae,” he said. “I am Thowra, and you are?”
Thowra, they named him Thowra, Like the wind, like the wind, that is free, To be king of the bush, his destiny.

The young fae sighed as she saw a stah coming, but she couldn't hear him. A confused look spread over her features. Could this be the king I've heard about? she thought, stepping forward, her chestnut pillars brushing against one another. Mostly, what stood out about him was his hellion characteristics, but no flames accompanied him. Those were the things she liked least about their breed - that and blood lust. The femmora was baffled, truly. What is this? she thought. So, he was the one I've heard of Juli said to herself, now knowing he was of good nature.
"Greetings, Thowra," she said with a small smile. "I am Julianna...or Juli," replied, her eyes shining confidently. She wasn't that easy to trust, but Thowra had a good reputation. Not even she could deny that he was quite handsome and probably a good fighter. Still, there was doubt in her mind. Julianna would not show it though, and if he wasn't one that would show her love and affection, she would leave. If he did, she would be forever his. It just depended upon how their personalities blended.
It was obvious why he was here: to find mares for his herd. Why she was here....she didn't know. Juli could have easily gone to one of the other lands and chosen her home, but all and any of them appealed to her...except the places where the evil hellions were. "What land are you from?" she asked, wondering if he was from any of those lands where evil ruled.

"I? I am from Snowy River Forest, Juli." He smiled at her. There was no doubt about it, she was a rather pretty mare. "You probably think that I am hellion, and you are right about that. But unlike the other pure hellions that roam these lands, Exile, Blade of Flames and Donovan, I actually seem normal like any who are not pure hellion. Yes, I have everything the way other pure hellions, do such as the bloodlust and other characteristics, but they do not come out in me."
He chuckled. "I rather to be different from the others. Unlike the others I do not treat mares or stags who are not pure hellion like they are worthless, more I like to treat all of them equally really."

Snowy River Forest she thought trying to remember what it had looked like when she saw it first on her travels. The most she could remember was that it was quite large...and very pretty. Quite a few many horses seemed to take it as their home, but none bothered her as she passed through. "Snowy River Forest sounds quite lovely to me," she said, the smell of pine coming to her mind. When she had looked, she saw that there were many little streams that trickled together to form a creek. All the waters looked like mountain water, they were so pure, clean. She rather liked the idea of seeing them again, but still, she wanted to know more.
"So, you're allied with Ashton...and not those hellions?" she asked, her lyrics carefree and easy. As he spoke more, she figured that she hadn't ever met one like him. He was so kind and loving, and there were no flames that danced where his tassels should be. So, I won't be enslaved she thought happy, a smile spreading over her features in a more pronounced manner. "I do believe that I've never met one such as you, Thowra," she said softly. This was much different than she'd ever imagined. Juli felt a bit sorry that so many questions had popped into her mind to ask, but the young fae felt they were necessary. Always, they were.
Worries - they were always in the back of her mind. They were what most stags were afraid to answer because the worries she and they had were the same. Nervousness crept on when they didn't say a thing, but hopefully he would have an answer to her next question. Juli's shoulders got tense suddenly as she thought of the thing she had to know. "Thowra, you don't think....that they would attack the herd, do you?" she asked. She had seen a few of them, and they weren't ones to mess with.

He smiled at her. "If they were to attack, well, they would find that there are many there who would fight to protect the forest. Not to mention they would have a fury as strong as any other hellion coming back at them from me. Though I have to admit, that I am a lot more in control than they are in a fight. Only in a fight do any flames appear on me, Juli."
There was too much control in him for them to not always be in sight. "Personally I detest those other hellions. And yes, Ashton is my ally, and he will always be."
He chuckled. "There is one other pure hellion in my lands, Yarraman, but he will not hurt you as he is my father. He's as good natured as I am."

All he said did nothing but keep her smiling to him brightly. This was what she had been waiting for, the moment when she knew where she belonged. Four long years it had been, but the patience she had previously had paid off in the end. They had been here at the same moment, that same exact time. They had much in common it seemed. Juli knew that she wasn't as bright as some faes; she was more laid back, more resistant to such things. It seemed as if he was too; he was level headed and calm. Those were the things she had been looking for all of her life. Surely, with those other hellions, she would be safe. "I have made my decision as to where I would like to go," she said happily, content.
The young fae's heart seemed to leap out of her chest as she prepared to finally accept that she was part of a herd. "I would choose none other than you," she said softly, happiness shining bright in her eyes. Julianna stepped forward again, touching her nose to his gently. Not a sound she made, like many other close minded faes would do, but she just relaxed. Now, she knew she could. Sweetly she looked to him, ready to go to her new home. Her new life was awaiting, and she could tell that nothing but love would come from it. All her questions were not in vain, but there was one more that would be asked in later weeks. Juli already could tell that it was coming. It was just a matter of time.

"It will be a safe place to be a tthe moment, though Blade of Flames and I had a blood fued going on between us. Not to mention we're full brothers which makes things even more annoying. He is older than me though. Both of us are Kings of our lands. Were I you, I would stay away from Misty Mountains for both he and Donovan live there."
He chuckled though knowing there was no real point in frightening her of at all. "Well, come and meet the others, Juli."
He knew that she would be safe and happy there. There was no one to fear within the ancient borders these days. And with a king that could move without detection, well you were a fool to try and sneak someone.
