Therthis
The black nodded as well, though he disagreed on one slight point with the other stallion. "Well, Exile wouldn't love everything about you. But it is true that any stag in their right mind would, and for more reasons than just your beauty. Your wisdom, for one, in choosing rightly between sending Exile away or letting him stay, while allowing Kiam to remain, your strength, to tell him what to do, when many have not enough to do even that, while they still have a chance."
The black shrugged, his wings folding in, tucked tightly against his ebony hide. "Neither of us has lied yet, to the best of my knowledge. The question then, that I would put before you, is who do you wish to go with?"

Celia laughed, a high bell pitched sound and it slowly turned into a chuckle. "Ah stallion, you seek an answer that I seek myself," she sasid good naturedly. "I can choose a stallion who is oh so kind, or a stallion who's name I am yet to know," she hintered, wishing to know more about the newest stallion to the group.

Therthis
He laughed a bit, then shook his head good-naturedly. "My name, Celia, is Therthis. I am of Red Sun. I'm half hellion, and half unicorn. Until recently, I ignored my unicorn blood, but in recent years have found that it would be ignorant to imagine it was not there, and I have since then practiced different forms of my abilities."
I sighed, looking at the blind fae with a kind of resignation to the unstoppable. "Later, only a few months ago, actually, the stallion who you just sent away, Exile, came to these lands. He and I were enemies long before either of us made the journey here from our old homes. In those old times, he destroyed my old land, my old herd. Tortured my former queen to insanity, and then set her loose upon me. She nearly attempted to kill me, and I was forced to either die, or kill her myself."
Sorrow was heavy in my voice, but I continued. "For his actions against me, I poisoned his land. It caused some of his herd, mostly his heirs, to die. The others left, and even he could not live in the land anymore."
"But there is something you should know as well, which I do not tell you lightly, for it wouldn't be fair nor honest to ask you to join me without telling you this. Exile and I went to the very gates of hell, and swore an oath in blood. Till each had three heirs, neither could harm the other, nor the other's herd, without they and their own suffering the same fate. However, when we do end our battle, whoever wins will possess not only his own herd, intact, but also the loser's. The queen of the loser, will be allowed to challenge the winner once. Should she win, her stag shall be declared victor. Otherwise, nothing will change."
I bent my head, for a moment, wondering what should happen if I lost to Exile. What would he do to Scar, my queen? Or to Volo? Moonslight? Friehiet? And, should I ever manage to help them escape from Blade again, Hope and Celeste?
There were burdens upon me. But now was not the time for them...

Celia bowed her noble head, liking how open and truthful he seemed. "Well met Therthis," she said "I thankyou for your kindness and your truthfulness, but I think I will choose Kiambu." She cocked her head slightly, eyeing the place where the stallion would stand. "Not for my own safety, but rather because his home is closer to were I grew up," she smiled slightly and bowed her head "but I thank you for your attention and hope we shall remain friends at the least."

Therthis
The black nodded his head, before he remembered that she couldn't see his motion. Instead, he spoke, with a simple voice that admitted nothing except hope. Hope for her, and hope for luck the next time. "Yes, I hope as well, that we remain friends. I thank you as well, Celia, for listening, and, of course, for giving Exile a taste of what he deserves."
To Kiam, I spoke in a quiet voice. "Lucky you. You get an excellent addition to your herd; a mare with some spunk."
Then, with a bow to them both, and a farewell spoken as well, I took the air and flew away.
There were others in Alaknanda today.

The look that lived within his eyes of storm was exclamatory, jovial, priceless! Forward he walked, so that they were nearly touching. Her warmth radiated to him, filling him with only love for the fae that was now in his herd. Clumsily, his front daggers clanked together, the feeling of floating overcoming him. "I know. I know you will love Ciera," he said, feeling that his breath was escaping him with every moment he talked to her. All of them in his herd seemed to have their own way of capturing him and keeping his attention and love.
"Best of luck to you, Therthis, in expanding your herd," Kiam replied with a nod, letting the stag go to others. Not would he bother the ebony stag again on his quests for faes. If there were four or five in all, the earth hued king would be the happiest of all. "I am sure you will do well," he said finally, turning his gaze back to the fae that captivated him so much. He wanted her to see! There was so much to experience in life, and a world of darkness had to be one of solitude and depressing things that the world did not dare to venture into.
"I told you of my herd, but I did not speak to you who exactly they were," he said, wanting to do more than tell her of names. Kiam wanted to give her a vivid image of the other lovely faes that he was surrounded by all the day long. "First, there is Black Fire. Her pelt is a orange-yellow color, for she is part hellion. Her tresses are of many hues. Soft earthly hues of brown and darker shades of brown. Black Fire's eyes are bright, like the sun," said he, explaining his first mare, the one that he had met upon claiming the land.
"Shattered is the second that I met. The daughter of Corus and Armada she is, but her personality is quite the opposite. Her pelt is a shimmering ivory, and she is beautiful - beautiful outside...and inside," he smiled, showing through his voice that being beautiful on the inside was clearly more important to him than being physically beautiful.
"My last is not a fae - but a young colt, my son. His calling is Ocean Sun. His mother is Black Fire, and his hue is a mix of ours. He is crimson with ivory markings upon him, much like I do. They are upon his small pillars and underbelly. His is kind, just like the rest," he said softly, looking to the direction of the mountains. The climb to the top could be difficult for her, but he would help her up if he had to.

She allowed herself a small smile at his obvious joy. It pleased her, knowing that he was happy she had chosen him. "It sounds wonderous," she admitted and wondered what the others would think of her. She flickered her tail, listening to the world around her and sighed. "Shall we get going?" she asked

At the pesky flies he paid no attention. To the beautiful sounds of of the river, he paid no attention to at all. Normally, he would sense everything around him in an instant. Right now, she was his focus and his only focus. Getting her safely home was another. The earth hued stag sighed, knowing that any would want her for her beauty. Never would he forget this day in spring...never.
"Yes, we shall," he said softly. Kiam wondered how she would follow him at first, but then, he soon remembered that most blind horses had heightened senses. "Follow the sound of my hooves, Celia, and you cannot go wrong," he added, beginning to move out, taking reach upon the ground. Comfortably, he stretched his stride to an easy stride as he waited for her to follow. Kiam was steering clear of any dangerous routes for them.

Celia giggled slightly, a smile upon her lips. "Dear Kiambu, I have more talents then reaches the eye," she told him and trotted forth, nose slightly ahead so not to run into anything. She paused, looking back over her shoulder in his general direction. "Lead the way," she said brightly.
