Trigiadea
Of a mangy and dying Siberian wolf. It came as a fable or a natural image To pace the bars of these sunless minds, A small and unimpressive common wolf In desperately poor and cold condition.
The gorgeous looking wolf stared out of the cage she was in as it was unloaded onto the grass. She smelt the river that she could see, but the humans would make that plea history for her. Thirsty she was, but they cared not for her.
The humans laughed as they unloaded their horses and other wolves, all of them younger than her and in far better condition. A rare colour she was in pelt yet she was the worst cared for.
Night fell quickly and she howled at the full moon hoping that some wolf or wild horse would hear her and free her. The cage was only fastened with rope after all, but it was coated in some sweet thing that horses would love.
Her body was thin and weak, and she needed to hunt for herself. She needed a new life and all this longing poured from her in the howl.

He lept forwards, merely more then a glare of grey and white as he lept towards the cage. These humans had been hunting him and his sister for years now, they had already killed the rest of his family.
Silent as the night before him, he padded towards his caged cousins and came to a halt outside easily the thinest cub their. She looked so small, so defencless that it took him a moment to relize she wasn't a pup, just a starved beauty. "Hello," he yelped quietly, checking it the coast was clear and flashed her a toothy grin. "I'm Luikawa," he introduced himself before getting to work on the sweet tasting cloth.

She looked up in surprise at the sound of paws coming through the outside area, her eyes bright in the darkness. She had stopped howling a long time ago. He was rather handsome whoever her was. Then the wolf said his name. Luikawa. A name she liked the sound of as well.
“Trigiadea, is what they call me.” she smiled a little at him, watching as he worked to destroy the odd smelling rope that kept her from escaping the cage. Oh how she hated the humans that she was with.
Then she remembered the human who had found her after the death of her family. That little girl had been nice, but now she was almost forgotten, after years of being with these 'circus' people.

Luikawa gave it a gentle tug and it fell around her ankles, he slinked towards the next cage but froze midstride as someone moved. A light flashed, landing right on the frozen grey wolf and the yelling stared. With a bark of suprise, he lept towards her, nudging her up off the ground and ran beside her, offering his support if her weak legs failed.
"Run," he encourged her with a gentle nip. "Run unless you want to be caught." They ran towards the lake, splashing though the fast waters.

Oh she ran, though it was an odd look with her. Her long front legs arched high into the ground before hitting the ground with every thud, long black nails biting into the dirt and leaving a mark. She would not be able to run for long and she knew it. She was weaker.
Hearing men running after her, she gave a terrified yelp and then stopped, looking towards them. One threw something at her and she dodged, a snarl on her face. One then raise what looked to be a gun and she bolted once more after the other wolf.
“A gun,” she panted. “I can't keep this up much longer.”
Getting through the rush water of the river was a struggle and it seemed to tear at her, carrying her downstream as she fought the current. “Luikawa,” she yelped in panic. “Help!” She did not know that not far from here were some rapids with razor sharp rocks amongst them, and after that a waterfall.
She struggled but seemed be too weak.

He lept after her without a thought, his sharp teeth grabbing her ruff and swimming to the other side, dragging her along as he fought the current and for breath. The fast paced river smashed him into the rocks, a sharp yelp of pain left him and only his stubboness allowed him to keep pulling her.
"I got you," he tried to say around the mouthfull of fur and bones. He climbed up onto the bank, collosaping for a moment before forcing himself to his feet and grabbing her once more, running off and half dragging her. He was tried, he ached from all the meeting with his rocks and suddenly he stumbled and fell. "Were safe," he said closing his eyes and struggled for breath. His chest, it ached, his front right paw did to. The blue eyes opened once more, and he stiffled a yawn, knowing they would be safer out from the open space. "This way," he said, heaving himself to his paws and lead the was with a pronouced limp and stopped outside a warm cave, falling into a heap once more. "Safe."

She whimpered as he grabbed her, feeling the rocks when they crashed into it. She was not really able to walk after the river had almost claimed her, but she managed to carry her own weight though he was helping her. She knew the humans would not give up the chase that easily, and she heard a bullet split back where she had been after getting out of the river. When he got up the second time though she followed him, quite willing to get somewhere safe now. “Are you alright?” she panted. Several times she shook herself, trying to get the water from her coat. Oh how weak she was at the moment. “I can't stay here for long, those humans have tracking dogs. Their huge and they'll be after me as soon as the sun rises. For one they treated badly, I was their prize.” She fell to the ground curling up and licking at a half healed cut that was stinging badly. It was some days old and she hated the humans who had hit her with that sharp stick.

"I," he breathed deeply with his eyes closed "keep. you. safe." He dragged himself across to her, wrapping his tail protectivally around her red bodice and sighed deeply. "Don't....worry..." he muttered "hunting...easy...to distract."
He went still and it seemed his heart skipped a beat, but he let out the breath and sighed, trying to ignore the aches. "Stay....a while longer..." he said, eyes flickering over to look at her blindly. He wondered what her name was and what she looked liked, he hadn't even gotten a good look yet. God! He wouldn't even know she was a female if it wasn't clear in her scent. "Please..." he whispered, curling himself around her tighter both for warmth and comfort.

She sighed as he moved over to her again, not protesting at all as he did so. She actually found herself snuggling into him. "I will... for a while."
After all, she had no where else to go at the moment. He seemed to care about her. After all, he was the one who had freed her. She knew that if he had not done so, then there was a chance that she would not have made it through the end of the week.
"Thank you," she muttered, yawning.

"No...problem..." he whispered in his sleep, curling himself into a ball which only pressed her closer to him. A whimper came as he shifted, and then he lay still.
The morning came, only few hours later and Luikawa opened his eyes, suprised to find something soft and warm beside him. "Sakarri?" he asked, blinking sleepily and making to his feet, only to fall back down with a whine of pain. He eyed the red fae, remembering what had happened and nosed her gently. "Hello?" he asked her gently, unsure what to call her. "Dúisigh álainn," he whispered in his beautiful native lanuage. "Ailleacht dúisigh daor, múscail leis an maidin nua nua..." he murmered and nuzzled her soft, thin cheek.
OOC: áilleacht dúisigh daor, múscail leis an maidin nua nua: wake up dear beauty, wake to the new morning of new Dúisigh álainn: Wakeup beautiful

Unsure what the words were that I heard, well what they meant anyway, I opened my eyes after yawning. Then I leapt to my feet in surprise.
Then I remembered the night just been and snorted in embarrassment. I opened my mouth to say something, then heard the hunting howl of a wolf hound. "The hunting dogs," I yelped.
Then I reaplised something. He did not know my name as yet. "Trigiadea is my name, Luikawa."

He watched her with concern as she lept backwards, her bones stuck out worse now that her skin hung from her narrow frame. Ribs, he could count them, and even her ears seemed weightless. He smiled slightly, repeating her name once and found it to his liking. "Do not worry about the dogs," he said pulling himself to his feet with a wince of pain. "We have an understanding," he said and cocked his head to look at her from another angle. "You must eat, come," he declaired and padded off away from the river.
They entered a clearing, a small pond in the middle and long grass. Holes were everywhere, rabbit holes. "Can you hunt?" he asked shyly, not wanting to embarress her if she didn't.

I followed after him eagerly, glad to be free at last. “Sadly no. I was wild for only three days before I was caught. The first human who had me was young and looked after me. I loved her. Then her father realised I was a wolf and sold me to the people you freed me from. I have no training out here in the wild, for me every day is a new adventure.”
Never had I known the wolf childhood, I had only had that little girl to play with and though I had loved that, even then I had been lonely.
“So no, hunting is something I have never done.” I could smell the rabbits though, just waking from their sleep.
“What do you mean by an understanding?”

He nodded slowly to himself, eyeing the holes and sent her a toothy grin. "Well, they let me be and I don't hurt them, simple really," he said and motioned for her to stay put as he lept forwards, ignoring the pain in his chest.
He caught a large white hare, snapping its neck easily and carried it back towards her, dropping it at her feet and nosing it slightly closer. "Eat," he commanded, dropping to his stomach and faced her. He was hungery, yes, but not so much as her.

“I see,” she replied. That made sense to her, though she knew that they would come, understanding or not. “They'll come though, I might warn you. They know me, and know that before long I might try and return to them. I tried to escape once, after killing a human and escaping from the cage, but they all caught me and beat me for it. I went for a week without food, for that.”
The young wolf sighed, watching carefully as he leapt, striking a rabbit down. She watched, seeing when he struck, how he moved when it came to the rabbit holes. So clever he was.
“Thank you.” Her teeth sank into the rabbit, and did not take long to strip all the meat from it.
