Exile
I entered Alaknanda, watching for those of pure blood. My herd consisted only of myself, Candra -- my first heir -- and Temia -- my queen, and Candra's mother -- yet Therthis, my rival, who was a filthy half-blood possessed several in his herd. Moonslight and her two foals of him -- Starlit -- and one of Blade's, though I knew not the bitch's little name. Also was Celeste and her filly, Volo, with no foal, Scar, and Seamus, another of Therthis' heirs.
He didn't pick and choose, but took any and every mare that came his way. Why, Celeste hardly knew him, yet she joined his herd! Moonslight he forcebred a few years ago, and still she had come! Volo had fought with her filthy sister to join his herd. Scar... His filthy queen he had met in the breeding grounds, and she had come with him without question!
I though; I looked for the purest, the most beautiful, the strongest hellion mares to carry my bloodline. Temia had been one. She was as pure hellion as they came, and the perfect queen. She was hellion to the core, instead of the traitors, such as Shattered.
Still though, others must join my herd, or there would be trouble.
"I come seeking those of fire! I come seeking hellions. Please, I wish to meet you." I called, feeling a bit stupid, the way I had said it.

The tall strawberry roan hellion with the chestnut and gold flames for tresses and tassels moved through the woods. She knew what she sought for at the moment, and that was only those who were pure hellions like her. None of these soft hearted hellions either. She was a hellion and she had the attitude to match one too. Seeing the tall ivory stallion, she snorted, moved out of where she had been and past by him, wondering how he would react. There was nothing but cruelty shining in her eyes as she glanced at him for that breif moment. Would he try to stop her? Or was there something else that intersted him more?

Exile
I moved towards her, stepping in front of her path, though not close enough to threaten. "Greetings, fae," I said to her, my pure blue orbs shining with the same fire as the rest of my body. "I am Exile. What is your calling?" I didn't bother asking her if she was looking for a home. No one came here unless they were either looking for a place, or looking for ones to share that place with.
This one, like only a handful of others, was pure hellion. She wasn't a push-over. I could tell. I smiled, cruelly. She would be an excellent member of my herd. She had the core of a hellion in her eyes.
Flames leapt a bit higher from me, and my eyes flashed in anticipation. There were only three hellion stags with true hellion thoughts. Myself, Corus -- who would soon die -- and Blade. My spies I didn't count, for they were fallen hellions, and weren't as strong.

She paused, amused that he thought to stop in front of her. She had known he would do that though. Hellion males were so predicatable in her eyes. None of this though showed in her expression or voice as she replied. "Chisel is my calling, Exile of Inferno Plains." How she knew his home he would never know, for she had spent years wandering. Out from the bush came two more hellions, yearlings, who looked just like her. She snorted. "About time you found me, Bruton and Charasma." She rolled her eyes at the colt and filly, her own flesh and blood. "What do you want, Exile?"

Exile
I shrugged, then cocked my head. "Well, what do you think? It's not like I stepped in front of you for no reason. I don't often just speak to a random fae for no reason. You're not a random fae, and I speak to you for a very obvious reason. I'm pretty sure you know what it is." I said with a smile. I wasn't the least predictable of stags, but at least I had some wit.
"More importantly, at least to me, is why you're here."

She thought for a moment. " I think it is obvious why I come to this disgusting river filled with all these pathetic regular, non pure hellions." My daughter would leave me soon enough and that was something I was not too pleased about at the moment. She was not one for out here, she was too soft hearted at times, but she was growing out of that at last. "The stallion I seek though for my family to run with is one of the rarer pure hellions. One with a heart dark as my own."

Exile
I smiled, shifting my eyes to her son and daughter, then back to her. "Do you like the sound of hellions, and slaves? Instead of hellions beside the filth of this place? They think they're equal to us. Do you wish to rule over your own group of slaves? To hunt them and have a sport of them?" I looked to her strawberry sides. "Foals with the purest hellion blood? I can give you that and more. I'm not as foolish as Corus has been. I have an ally with the same plans, though we agree that the power must be divided. But the 'normal', the common filth of the lands, will not gain that power."
I moved a bit closer, a step only though. No others had bothered us thus far, and I was confident. "Will you and your foals come with me to join my herd?"

"That much I do like the sound of, Exile. You are of the kind that I seek to run with for my own life. Tell me, who is this ally of yours?" Could it be the king of Misty Mountains? I had heard of that take over, and it amused me in a way.
"I will join you, as will my son and daughter, though I doubt my daughter will stay around once she's old enough to leave the herd and make her own life. Maybe this ally of yours would be a good match for her. I won't have her joining one of those filthy blooded ones."

Gracefully, she moved on silent daggers, ones hued fire themselves. Long, flowing tresses of fire laid across her neck, dazzling to any eye that saw their beauty. It was true. There was not a trace of filth running through her purified veins, not a drop of it. Her sharp harks were perked as she moved on, the beauty of the sun giving her power, strength. It always did. Her eyes of orange glowed today; it was truly simmering for this place of perfection. Wasn't so perfect today. What made her flames flare even more was not the sun; it was the fact that two others were in the land.
This would be interesting, she knew. The fae galloped over to them, emotion leaving every bit of her. Silence was her companion while they talked; she just stood and watched their every word, every motion. It was true that bits of emotion passed through her mind, but not enough was present to call her anything less that a pure bred hellion. The fire was flaming where bits of lava were shining beneath her skin. The princess fae flicked her flaming tail, drawing attention to herself. Was it unwanted attention? She knew it wasn't.
Before her stood someone that she was sure could take care of her. He looked strong, but the other fae was already with him. Usually, she was hostile to faes until she got to know them, but she would try to act civil around this one, seeing as sure was pure hellion too. She moved closer, still emotionless. "Greetings, stag. What makes you different than any other?" she asked, watching his flames of ivory.

Exile
"He is Blade, of Misty Mountains. Interesting how he got the land in the first place, of course. Very interesting." I nodded at Chisel's next comment. Yes, I had considered a match such as that to strengthen the alliance we had made. Perhaps, should he be given a male heir, Candra would become his. When they were both old enough, of course.
The colt, of course, was a different matter. Perhaps he would become an ally as well, and find a land and herd of his own, to help as well. I looked over as I saw another hellion fae coming.
"I will meet you in Inferno Plains, then, Chisel."
I bowed a bit to her, and her foals, then turned to the second fae.
"The fact that I'm not tainted with the dirt that is all too common in the lands. The fact that I am not foolish, like Corus is, nor softhearted, like Thowra. In other words, I remain true to my hellion blood, without taking such pride as to plan poorly."

Lina nodded as he explained himself. This was good, and these were good traits to have, she knew. Just because of his intelligence and strength, she should have gone with him. "And you'll give me a purebred hellion foal?" she asked, eying him with a hint of wonder in her eye. Emotionless qualities came back over her as she wondered what the hellion stallion that seemed so real would do.
"I'm glad to hear that you are pure, or I would not have even thought of going to your lands," she said, laughing at the other non hellions that were all around. She pawed out with her flaming pillar in their direction, which scared them off. They all seemed to move their business elsewhere at even the sight of her. Other hellion faes she had met, but only one was more powerful than her. Temia.
Kablina didn't know what herd she was in, but she was sure that she was some stallion's queen. It was a known fact that Temia was the only one that she could call an ally or friend. "Who is your queen, stallion?" she asked, hopefulness in her eyes as she spoke.

Exile
I couldn't help but smile at her questioning. "Yes, any foal you would have from me would be of the purest hellion lines." I looked at her with a slightly appraising expression, then answered her second question. "My queen, though... Although you are surely a fae worthy of the title, she is Temia. One with no equal. Though you may be close." I told her, with a slight shake of my ivory head. "For I am Exile, of Inferno Plains, fae." he could tell she knew the name of his queen.
And she wouldn't question my choice, for Temia was truly one with no equal. I spoke truth in my words though; she was one of the closest to Temia I had yet met. Armada was foolish. First for joining Corus, and then for leaving his side and looking for Therthis. Chisel was strong and fine, but she lacked some of the qualities that were much desired in a queen. This fae though... She was very. very close.
"Tell me, what is your name?"

The fae's perfectly crafted features showed the most pleased expressions that any hellion could have. Still, evil shone within her orange eyes as she thought of the moment in time when she and her young ones would defeat everyone who dared to try to conquer them. Just like her mother and father before her, who took over the entire kingdom, she would do the same. Foolish she would not be, but she was nearly rendered speechless at Exile's choosing of words. She was nearly as perfectly fit as Temia? Impossible.
Kablina knew that Exile, the wisest of all hellions, had chosen his queen to win. "Temia is one that I know. We came from two allied herds; both of us were royals. We both always scoffed at the scum that our fathers chose as slaves," she said, rolling her eyes. "She is a bit older than me, but we always got along rather well," the fae said, remembering the days that they would terrorize the other young horses, teaching themselves how to fight. There was no doubt that Temia was stronger and bigger than Kablina. It was a fact that she accepted without a fight. Any others she would rip to shreds for thinking they were greater than her.
Blood lust twinkled in her eye as she looked to some stallions talking to a single mare. They would be easy to kill she knew, but she couldn't waste her time today on such things. Killing was a bit of a pastime, something fun to do. She loved it. "I am called Kablina...or Lina if you wish," she answered. Temia had really been the only one to call her Lina because it was much faster to say in battle. Her mother and father both had called her by what they named her. Kablina knew that they wouldn't have been denied of that right. Anyone that denied them, died.

Exile
I nodded. Good, so Temia already knew this one. Kablina. Then the only ones she would meet there would be Candra, my first heir, as well as the newest fae and the two young hellions that are hers.
"Soon, very soon, I will gain the first of slaves. They will be filth, yes, but not without value. My daughter, Candra, Temia's first, will enjoy the chance to fight the filly, and all the faes within my herd will be allowed to do what they please to with the filly's pathetic mother." I told her. I knew that Temia and Chisel would enjoy that. Plus Bruton and Charasma, Chisel's twins, would like the chance to practice with Candra.
Their target, of course, being the little clod of dirt filly.

Kablina was slightly enthusiastic about meeting Temia's young. They would be ferocious and good playmates for her colt or filly that would be soon born. Kablina's would be perfectly proportioned, and their colors would be simply a delight to hellion culture. They would most likely be a light orange...a beautiful hue for any creature, hellion or not. Of course, the hellions were more significant in the world than any other, so the bright hues of death were suited well for them.
"Slaves. They are what makes a hellion herd even stronger. Even though they might be regulars or halves, they are some use to us. They help to spread the bloodlines around, but it's a shame that their offspring will be disgraceful halves," she muttered, looking around to find a lone fae. The fae was a red roan with silver tresses. She looked young, but she was not as young as Kablina. It seemed as if the commoner had been watching them the whole time. After a bit, the fae came up.
---------
"Greetings, hellions," the small fae said, falling to her knees for the two hellions. Kablina towered of the small fae, standing only thirteen two hands. "You....you remind me of my old stallion so much. He was a hellion too," she said softly, rising from her knees. Jade was sure that he was evil, but he reminded her so much of who she loved and who she lost. She wouldn't be here if she hadn't wanted to be.
The humans, those stupid two legged things, they captured her and took her away from her family! Her mother and father: Gone! Her mate: Gone! Her friends: gone! Now, this stag reminded her of this, and she liked him already. "I am Jade," she said, a cheerful smile coming over her face. Jade's eyes began to fill with tears as she thought of them again.
