Exile
I liked Kablina, yes. She was an excellent one. A hellion of my own black heart. "Yes, they do. They are necessary, but thankfully, many are expendable." I paused, seeing a third come forward, a small, young fae. But before I addressed her, I asked Kablina a simple question, more of a comment really. "I take it then I will see you in the Plains soon, Kablina."
Then I turned my attention to the small femme. She seemed cheerful. A bit unhellion, but still. "I am Exile, it is a pleasure to meet you. Pray, tell, what happened to your old stag?" I was curious. Those who were dead on occasion came back, and Therthis didn't need another ally.

The hellion princess, who had finally made her decision nodded to Exile, her new mate. Flames of orange dimmed down as she saw the small nokota mare as no threat. Inferno Plains she thought. The name was really pleasing to the ear, and she would like the life as second best. It was quite a compliment for him to say that she was so close to being at Temia's status. Kablina had only been trained by the best, the most evil of their breed. She hoped to give Exile another strong colt or filly for his herd.
"I shall see you there," she said with a nod once more, galloping into the distance. None would bother her on her journey to the lands of heat, the lands of death. Corus would be there, but he would not bother her since she was with Exile, the new reigning stag of the area. Surely, he would have enemies, those much weaker than them all, but they would perish in time, too.
---------
The roan fae, small in size but still beautiful in her own way looked up to him. It would have been a threat to his herd if he stallion had died, but that was not the case this time. Oh, how she had loved him. The lands she came from were millions of miles away though, and they were unreachable from here. Before Alaknanda was a huge mountain range that was impossible to get over from this side, so once you came here, you couldn't go back.
"H...I was captured by humans and taken to their stables. I was lost, and he was handsome and a hellion, looking similar to you, but he never came after me. He was always so kind. His flames were differently hued, and there were other small differences. You remind me of him though," she said, looking down. Jade knew that her stag was never coming back, so a new life would be the one she was looking for. A new stallion.

Exile
I nodded, looking at her critically. She had a silver mane and tail, but her body was roan. Her legs were silver, and there was a pure, snowy white blaze on her small face. No flames were evident. Obviously she wasn't hellion. I would still accept her into my herd, but she wouldn't be on the same level as Chisel, Kablina, and temia were. Not even close.
"I see. Here, should you join me, I will protect you from humans and others who would do you harm. That's a promise, fae. However, please, tell me, what is your name?" I was acting kind and gentle, a mask I was working on perfecting. One of many. It was needed, for otherwise it would be much harder to gain the trust of any nonhellion mares. Trust that was necessary till they came to my home, and truly joined my herd.

The small Nokota studied him and made assumptions as she did so. It seemed to the Jade that already, there was a new epoch. Instead of it being the epoch of insanity, like Corus and most recently Amani, it was the epoch of hellion intelligence. They would expound a new set of rules....well not her, but she would be in safety too. The plans and topics would truly be recondite and unbelievable sneaky. It wasn't like she minded being a part of this. Jade had always associated herself with hellions, even if they were like Exile. How was Exile though? Some were so good at hiding their true selves.
To Jade, he was rather beautiful, with his masculine form shimmering in the daylight. His ivory flames twisted and turned in all directions, some lapping over each other. The small fae had always envied a hellion's flames. There was just something about them that caught her eye. Exile did not seem like someone she would want to controvert, just because of how he appeared to be.
"My calling is Jade," she said softly, a little bit shy still. Jade was the name of a rock, and it was very hard and strong. It's hue was green, and it was used by the humans a lot. Jade didn't even consider herself strong, and it wasn't like she could stop Exile from capturing her if he tried. There was a reason she came here, and it was to be with him. Was it a wise idea? Probably not. It wasn't like she cared, but she just hoped that he would not take her life. A half hellion foal would be the most pleasing thing he could give her, since she loved their type so much. The fae hung her dainty crown, guessing that he must think of her as disgusting.

Exile
I considered her name, liking the sound of it. I wouldn't give her a foal of my blood, but perhaps, should Bruton behave, I would allow him to give her one. Truly, she was 'normal', but there were those who would treat her well enough if she bore their foal.
My spies, for three. And unlike them, the foal would have flames. So I knew, from speaking with a wandering unicorn when I traveled to here.
"Would you like to come with me, Jade? I believe you will like the land of Inferno Plains. And my other mares will surely like to meet you." I said gently. Yes, they'd like to meet her. They'd like that very much.

Jade smiled lightly, liking his gentle words. Maybe he was like her old stallion, but something did not seem so gentle about him. Surely, he was a hellion, but some hellions weren't good. Still, she was so trusting and wanted to meet his queen and their filly. Would he drop the act when she was at his home, or would he always be like that? Don't change, Exile she thought as she swiftly began to trot.
"Yes, I would enjoy that," she said, her short pillars breaking into a slow lope as she stretched her slender neck out to run. Into the heat, into the fire she went, with no turning back. She could not wait to feel the hot sands on her daggers and hocks again. They burned a little at first, but it became satisfying after a while. There were a few shady trees and oasis' so faes like her didn't die in the desert.
Jade hoped that Temia, Kablina, and Chisel would like her. She had been watching the whole time, so she knew everyone's names. In the heavy gales, her silver tassels flew all over the place, making her look more majestic than she believed she really was. She fae breathed in hard, her cheeky pony face heaving as she traveled about a mile, right out of the lands and to the Inferno Plains.
