A dark pelt shone across the shore, as an oceanic breeze swept ebony tassels back. Painted marks laid upon her sides and features, beautifying her from the inside out. That long, extended trot made its way to where they had been staying for months since their separation. One of the worst things about it was that she had......lost something very close to her heart even though she hadn't met it. Only had she seen the soulless body of their foal lying upon the ground, dead. Finally, she'd mustered up the courage to ask again.
"Sigaf," she asked a little to abruptly, too loudly. She was the beta queen, yet she felt so out of place on these shores than she had before. Maybe it was nerves. Before she left, she never seemed to have them, except when she was doing something important. This had to be important, for it was the future of both of them. Still, she was breathless as she picked up her pace as little, moving to his ebony form.
Faking a smile, she tried to seem happy through her worry and anguish from losing the first. What if the same thing happened again? Was she just a terrible mother? Blood Diamond didn't know - she had never raised a foal before. With wild eyes, she inhaled, trying to find the words to say. "I need to ask you something, Sigaf," she said quietly, the words spilling out all at once. Until he acknowledged her, she would not finalize her wishes though. She didn't want to have to ask it twice. Once was bad enough!

He smiled as he heard her calling to him and instantly moved to meet her. "Yes my Queen?" he asked, smiling at her. There was nothing he was happier at the moment about than having her back here with him safe, after the long time they had been seperated.
And anything she asked of him he would do if he had the power to do it. Nothing would he do that broke the rules of Sorrel's lands.

Touching her soft nose to his neck, she whispered words of love that she had learned in many different languages, calling him her adoring names. Moving a step closer, she took a deep breath in, looking into his eyes with thankfulness for the moment and regret for their past. "Please," she whispered, closing her eyes tightly, clenching on to that moment of pride and happiness that once she had when she was carrying his foal before. "Please give me another foal. This one will live, I know," she said, smiling a little.
Before, they had been happy, prospective parents but all their hopes were shattered when her foal was still born. Would he even want to try again, to risk all that hurt and sorrow again? Blood Diamond didn't know if she could be the worthy parent that this beta heir would need to raise them. If it was born alive, their foal would have two great friends to be around. Gloria, the daughter of Monila, was one, and the queen's foal was the other. Such a beautiful serene place this was for life, and it was for them to have for their youth. It was the only way to carry on their legacy after they died.

Though her question caught him by surprise, there was no chance he would ever deny her such a thing. This was his life now, and he wanted to give her everything she asked for. There was no decision to make this time. Sure last time had been a sad thing, but he knew that such things happened from time to time. The idea that she was willing to try again, was something that made him very proud of her.
For she was certainly the one that was his queen, she had all the qualities he needed to see. “Of course my love. Will we go to Wajida?”
He would go where she was willing to before he did that for her. For it was not him who was in charge in their group, but her really. He lived on for her, no matter that happened. She was the one who brought him to life and the idea of having a young one run about in this land was something that was a pleasing thought. It was one of the best places he had ever known out of all Freedom's Palace's lands and horses. Ever would they be safe here.

Diamond had all the urges that spring fever gave her, to be with all she loved and to have one more in her life. The beautiful queen had yet to bring life to this terrible world, to try to make it better than it was. If the two of them kept her safe and she ate plenty of nice grass, she would have a live colt or filly this time. It would be beautiful and do many amazing things. A sweet little filly would be nice, but a strong colt would also be nice. Diamond could not choose between the two because whoever they were, they were going to have a kind heart and be beautiful.
"Yes, we will," she said with a smile. Doing something such as that was rather repulsive in the home environment. Some did because it was so much safer, but she was sure that Sigaf could protect her if he had to. She could protect herself if she had to. Flicking her ebony whipcord, she began to slowly gallop toward the lands of mystery. "You will be a great father, I know," the beta queen said with a laugh, knowing their foal would be trained to be on the side of kindness. Kicking her heels up, she nickered for him to come as she jumped over a bank, taking a short cut to the glade.
