Drenched in sweat and tired, the new queen moved into her land, hearing the waves crash against the rock as they always did. At night, they would sing their lullaby of the sea to send her to sleep. The splendorous landscape blew her away every time she saw it, and this time was no different. The glade had been pretty, but it was nothing compared to this. Trotting into the sea, she let the high tide cool her from the inside out, feeling the high winds blow against her face with great force. There, she waited for her king, standing regally in the ocean.
Sangita was officially going to give the king of all a child, beautiful and innocent upon birth. Perhaps, it would be a sweet filly that would be kind and caring, one who would go on to be a great queen. Perhaps, it would be a colt, growing up to be strong, courageous, and true to the nature of his mother and father. If a colt was to be born, he would be the heir her king had been waiting for all these years - the one who would take the rightful throne when Ashton was gone. That was not something she would think about until it happened. The day that he left her would be the worst in the history of all horses, of the good kind at least. Evil would reign for that short time until the prince stepped up to the throne to claim it and rid the world, once more of it. Dark ages would come upon them sometime, hopefully not soon.
Casting thoughts of darkness from her mind, she concentrated on breathing deeply. For the next year, she would have to eat extremely nutritiously, and most of her days would be spent grazing upon lush grasses. During those months, she could not deprive herself of food, no matter how badly her stomach felt or how sick she was. It was for the good of the world, her deed was and for herself. More than anything, she loved Ashton. The foal was actually a part of both of them, and that made it even more special to her heart.

Dark tresses billowed around her nobel features. His ears, flickering for the slightest sound of danger within his lands. His being had graced this land for many years now, and soon his time would be up. He knew that this would put the rest of the world into war, fighting for the right to be the next king. Unless, he had a heir. A true heir, ready to do what he must for his subjects.
His hooves softly crossed the sand, kicking up small clouds of dust before pausing, looking up at the tallest hill in his lands. The place he normally stood, able to see most of the land from the one place. There, he noted with a warm smile, stood his young pregant queen. She would be a good mother, a good carer and a good queen. She, he knew, would grace this world for many more years then he had left. She would be able to pass on his knowlege to their child help them rule.
A small sigh escaped his kissers and his hoovs carried him forth once more, going to the place he truly belonged. Beside his queen. "Sangita," he greeted the beautiful fae.

Not yet had she noticed a difference in herself since their leaving the glade. Sangita didn't know what to look for, since she'd never been a mother before. Nature teaches the ones it chooses to bless though, so she would learn from experience how to raise her first foal. Hearing small bits of dust flying up and the sound of daggers hitting the sands, she turned her delicate warmblood crown, to face her king. After confirming it was truly him, she turned her gaze back to the rise and fall of the ocean and its splendor. Life always rose and fell too, but it seemed as if life was getting more hard every moment they lived.
"There's more evil kings now. Haven't you noticed?" she asked, looking to him with concerned eyes. "Remember back, when there was only Corus? Now, there's a few - Blade, Exile, and Trainwreck," she whispered, keeping her emotions far away at the moment with her concentration. With a sigh, terror crossed her features suddenly but only for a moment until she returned to her relaxed state. "When you kill one off.....three more appear. How can we expect to win?" she asked, trying not to lose her hope in their kind. As they increased, the hellions increased. Their mass populations were something impossible to fight.

"Hush love," he murmered knowing that only to well. "Things always happen for a reason, and remember there is still more of us," he said gently, nuzzling her soft nape with his gentle nose.
He stepped away slightly, looking down at the crashing ways below. "All things happen for a reason," he continuned "though it does not always seem clear at first, it does in the end." He sighed and looked back at her, saddess pooling in his dark eyes. "We have a little while longer, and then they will attack," he said "then a few more months then another attack." "Though, I worry if there is another attack like last time...or worse..." he shook his head slightly "I wont last." He said it simply, as if talking of nothing important. He knew his time was coming to an end, but he wanted to live his last few years in peace. "What if..." he said slowly "we made the first move this time." "Every other time...they called war, what if this time we do instead, we could have a better chance." he mused aloud and then chuckled "this could just work."
He turned, staring at his new queen in full and a new light danced in his eyes. "I think its time we called a meeting."

There wouldn't be more of the good soon enough, with the rate of reproduction in the hellion world. Good hellions were around too, which counted as more strength on their behalf. Several kings and betas were of those bloodlines and with them, the war could be fought with stronger kings in the lead and mares that insisted on coming in the back. Luckily, she had not been badly injured in the war, but some had lost their lives due to careless mistakes or being singled out as small, large, weak, strong, or beautiful. Anyone that stood out got attacked. That hadn't happened to her, for most stags and faes towered over her. They kept her in the crowd.
"Who, in particular, will we target? The entire group in general, to just knock off a few of them? I think we should do a secret unplanned attack on one king at a time when they are not expecting it," she said softly, not wanting word to get out even before it started. Even nature, like snakes, and rabbits were spies for certain lands, gathering information. They could not let their guard down. "If we attack the actual kings, we could save slaves of theirs and put them into freedom. Some of the unicorn council has already been sneaking from the dark kings," Sangita replied, remembering the news of Callisto sneaking two mares already from some of the stallions. They didn't want to mess with five unicorns. "Yes, let's call a meeting. For who though? All kings and queens, all stallions, or everyone?" Sangita asked. Chaos broke out at too big of meetings, and sometimes evil sneaked into them when they were so open. They had to be wise about this.

The stallion paused, ears flickering as he thought quietly. It seemed they were thinking together here, thinking roughly the same plans. "I think...we could plan in different groups, so no single group knows the whole plan," he said slowly, looking at her before continuning. "If.." he paused and nodded to himself "there are a few I can trust, more so then others, we can gather and plan the whole thing and send out messages to certain stallions, getting them to swear they shall not tell.." "Of course, only certain ones...good and bad, shall be told," he said and smiled slightly. "Thowra and Sundara can be trusted, as can a stallion called Bearla," he paused thoughtfully trying to make a list. "A few others to," he said and nuzzled her side "this might work!" "If we can get small groups attacking, stealing and sneaking at different times...they wont know what hit them," he said, suddenly seeming much younger as he pranced slightly in place and laughed loudly. "This might save us all!"

Sangita nodded as he spoke of no one exactly knowing the plan but them. There was a better idea creeping into her mind, an idea of assortment. They had many different types of horses that were allied to them by mind, trusted kings that would spill no secrets. "We have many different resources - horses and wolves. There are normal horses, like us, who have access to the ground and are intelligent. There are those like Fantasma and Dragonwing that can fly and manage an air fleet. There are also elemental creatures, like Iris, Illurious, and many wolves," she said, seeing their plans fall together before her eyes.
They would have to rule out which lands would fight with them and which would not. "I believe that the Inferno Plains will be fighting on our side in this battle," she said, referring to the young leader Solitude. They were horses of darkness, but they were not particularly evil. The beta would never fight on the side of his father and others. Sangita nuzzled him in return excitedly as she smiled and looked forward to their plan. It was perfect! "The only lands that will not are Misty Mountains, Gemdas, and Africa," she said, knowing that it was not a huge loss. There were, after all, only wolves in Africa anyways. Little did she know, the king and queen wolves there were as tall as her.

He nodded in agreement. "So, we just need lists of who is in what lands and what side they fight for," he mused out loud. "It seems you are the smarts behind this, love," he said with warm smile, knowing he had made the right choice to make her his queen. "The gods will help as well, well take Remus away though..." he murmered and spotted something in the distance and slowly, a white swan like form appeared. Sontieana, goddess of the wind. "Just in time," he said to the flying she-wolf and turned to his queen. "Sangita meet Sontieana, goddes of the wind and air," he introduced them to each other and the swan-like wolf bowed her head. "The wind speaks of your plans," she told Ashton and he nodded, knowing that there was only 3 who could acutally understood its words. Boonsa, Sontieana and Thowra. "Will you carry our messages?" he asked and the fae nodded "I shall and gather lists, though I must visit Thowra first." "Of course."

Sangita smiled shyly at his compliment about her being intelligent. There wasn't a time when she couldn't solve a problem, but that was just luck, she thought. "Thank you. This whole thing was your idea though, so take credit where it's deserved," she said happily, with a playful nudge. "The wolves aren't the only gods and goddesses," Sangita said with a shake of her crown. "No, there's the goddess of the stars, who is the queen of Black Sands. She actually manages the council," the queen replied. "Her name is Andromeda," Sangita added, thinking of the ebony mare with ivory patches and celestial marks all over her sleek bodice.
Shaking her crown again, she thought of how they would make these groups. "We cannot just pair the strong with the strong and the fast with the fast. Our groups have to be mixed," she said, knowing more would die if there weren't strong, fast, flying, and elemental horses in each group. Even though it would split up the strongest relay groups, it would help them as a whole. "There are some like Sorrel, Kiambu, and Gladiator who have more speed and intelligence than strength comparable to the hellions. Some like Thowra, Phoenix, and Athenadora had more strength. Then, there are elemental ones like Iris, the council, and the gods. Young ones could be thrown into the mix to help out too. We all have different styles of fighting, but if we collaborate them evenly, we can win," she said, looking out to the horizon. She hoped they could win, at least take out a few kings.
"Which ones are the strongest and will require the biggest fleet? I believe Blade will, personally. Trainwreck only has Candra and Dominique Aime with him. Blade has a few stags and an army of slaves that he will make fight. He's getting less everyday. Callisto took another mare from him - Pandora. Few more days, he'll have another from someone else," she laughed at the thought of the slaves disappearing right from under his nose. They were going insane too, and killing herd mares, foals, and other slaves. With less slaves, they would be so much weaker. Blade still had two stags though - Donovan and Soulless Demon. What would they do about them?

The aged king bowed his head, a smile tugging at his lips as he nuzzled her gently. 'True, but I say we take even credit," he chuckled good-naturedly and nodded in agreement about the others she mentioned. He knew all about the star goddess, he knew all that happened in his lands.
His thoughts trailed off slightly but he was drawn back at her words. Yes. Things could work perfectally, only if certain people where paired together. "Yes, we shall have to group carefully, we need to place each fleet together with carefully turned thoughts," he mused and thought about the stallions he must attack. "Blade yes, though we cannot attack directly, Thowra only must," he said "Trainwreck is young and full of energy, but I should be able to beat him with ease.." He sighed at the idea of causing battles once more, but he hoped this would be the last time. "Let us wait for the wind goddess to return, then we might have a few more answers," he murmered and nuzzled her smooth stomach "and take it easy love, we can't have you to stressed."

It was clear in her mind how they would approach each situation differently, seeing how they were all very different stags. "I know that," she said defensively for a moment, an apologetic look coming upon her features. The thought of a foal on her mind was bearing a lot of pressure upon her. "There are other ways to attack. It does not have to be combat. Taking someone quite close to him would come to be quite interesting," she smirked a little, wondering if any sneaks would be going on anytime soon. Perhaps, taking his slaves would help, but there was one target that she knew would hit the herd....extremely hard. Maybe, it would even cripple it in the final battle.
"You're right though," she said with a sigh, swishing her whipcord nonchalantly. "I am worrying too much," she added softly, making her way to a sandy bed under large rock cave. It was nearby enough that she could hear him speak and say things about the war. Even, she would respond from her cozy resting place. Now, she needed to concentrate on the task at hand - having a healthy foal. In her bloodlines, it was a common thing for young ones to die soon after birth from ailment. It had not affected her mother, though, so hopefully it would not affect her. With a smile, she laid down, looking to him.

"That is what I thought," he said gently, agreeing with her all the way. Dismissing her defencive outburst with a gentle chuckle, he followed her small hoofsteps towards the warmth rocky cave. Looking over his shoulder, sending a watching eye out over his lands he knew all would be well while he rested beside his queen. Slowly, his strides led him deeper into the save as he settled down behind her, lending his warmth to her smaller form. "I have... something...to tell you," he whispered to her, an ancient saddness leaking though his tones. "My old queen...Eleven, is dead." His soft green eyes closed, unable to keep them open from the pain of his words. She had taken her own life, he guessed she had taken wind that he had named Sangita his temperory queen. But now, she was the queen of all. To be by his side until the end of there times.

Humidity rushed around her cool pillars as she curled up comfortably, feeling small jiggles in her abdomen. Rather large, she was growing already, but it would be a few more months before the youth would be born to this world. Smiling up warmly to him, she knew that there were other times to think. All was good for now, even if this was only her position temporarily. At least, that's what she thought while she was laying against the warm sands of the cave. Sangita touched her soft nose to his shoulder as he laid beside her, welcoming his warmth and kindness to protect her through thick and thin. No one could tell her that she wasn't vulnerable carrying the future heir, for she knew that she surely was.
With the whisper of her king, she tensed up, perking her harks and looking directly to him. Searching for a tone of accusation, she could find none and settled herself. After all, the last time he had told her something, it had been rather good. Preparing herself, she inhaled easily and looked into his eyes. As soon as the words escaped his perfectly chiseled maw, fear stricken eyes shot up as her words left her. There were none to say, and she nodded a little, not trusting her own voice. "Wh-What?" she asked, her vocals breathy and surprised, shooting her gaze all over the lands. Sangita looked so out of place and she could not help but believe that this was all her fault. "I-I did this, didn't I?" she whispered, tears welling in her eyes. "I can't accept this. I can't be queen like this. It feels terrible," she said, trying to keep her nerves contained. No she thought, shaking her crown back and forth rapidly.

The large stallion quickly shook his head at her words, knowing it wasn't her fault at all. "No, my love," he murmered gently nuzzling her neck "it was mine, entirly mine." He was quiote for a moment, noticing the tears which flashed in her glassy orbs and gently nuzzled her soft cheek with his dark nose. "Please, Sangita," his words sounded full of pain "don't leave me." He had never begged someone to stay with him before, his old queen just came and went as she pleased seeming to be uncaring of his feelings. But Sangita, he didnt want to loose her as well. His head dropped slightly away from hers, nuding her slightly bluding stomach and sigehd deeply. If she left, he understood why, but that didnt make his heart ache any less. It was then, he knew he and truly fallen from the much younger and beautiful fae, he knew he would do anything for her.

Eyes still glossy and hurt, the fae rose from her crumpled, vulnerable position. Every step stung worse than the last, making her feel weak - like she could do nothing but go on with her existence. Deep pain was in her heart from the death that he had not caused. It was solely hers. Firstly, she shouldn't have even asked if he would be with, if she could spend a little extra time with him. Taking it this far was so wrong, and now it could only be accepted, not undone. Tears now rolling down her soft cheeks, she looked back, her gaze filled with the undying love that they had.
Sangita turned around and walked forward a few more steps before turning around completely. "I could never leave you," she whispered, bowing once before letting her words linger in the silence that laid between them. Sometimes, it said more than the words could themselves. "I need to be alone," she nodded, turning around and galloping off into the rocky caves. For a few days, she would wander in them. Sangita had mastered all the passageways in time here, and some were spectacular. Surely, he knew of them, but she knew he wouldn't come after. Out of anyone, he could understand her reasoning.
