The king of all the ice horses moved into the sandy beach area, knowing that this was not the place for him. No, he would not be staying here, he only came with a business means. Ashton he had heard was a good king and knew how to treate the other normal equines. Eisbergkönig did not look down on Ashton, no instead the huge dark palomino looked up to him.
Eisbergkönig snorted as he moved, this would be the beginning of a marvellous freindship. Stopping, he waited.
The dark head lifted, nose twitching slightly at the new scent. The king of all knew there was someone in his lands, someone he had never met before. The scent drifted closer as the aging king moved, it was mingled with ice and other, new means. He paused, his movements frozen and yet graceful. The intruder stood upon the sandy shores of his home.
With a flick of his dark tresses, his aging bodice made it down though a path that only certain feet could make. "Greetings," he murmered, head lifted high as he made eye contact with the slightly taller stallion. Though, he was older, Ashton would have an edge from experience. "Welcome to Freedom's Palace."
"Greetings Ashton, king of all Freedoms Palace. I am Eisbergkönig, lord of the Eispferd horses of the Icy Tundra lands. I came here to introduce myself, and of course, my breed. We are the ice horses. Like hellions, there are things that give us away for what we are. Any horse with the runes I bear, and the icy mane and tail are one of us."
He chuckled, bowing his head. "The ice is our power, and because of this, the hellions are no freind of ours. For they will try to melt us, and that is something that will happen one day in the future, when word of my kind's arrival upon these lands has spread to not so freindly ears."
His voice was polite and noble, it was the only way to talk to another king, especially one in such a rank like his own.
His brown eyes twinkled with amusement, eyeing the stallion before him. "I know," he chuckled lightly, turning slightly away and looking down upon his lands. "I know all."
It wasn't said in a cruel manner, it was just a fact. Everything that happened in these lands, he knew. From the birth of twins two days prior, or the warrior princess who was wandering the claiming grounds, he knew all. "You live upon the newly found lands," he turned back to the stag "they are yours to look after, you have mine alliance, but if they steal or attack your lands...I cannot cause a war for just one species," he looked to him, hoping he would understand. Wars had been to many of late, to many deaths hung over his head now. His son was growing strong, and soon he would leave his queen and him to rule.
"Oh I understand those things more than you realise. I was there in the fighting against Exile personally. My sister though stayed away from all of that, she's no fighter. Happened to meet another of my kind there, Moonslight."
It had been quite a surprise for me as well. I wondered though as to when she had come to Freedoms Palace. She had been gone for so very long. She was my grand daughter, not that she remembered me until I'd told her.
The aged head bobbed, green eyes twinkling brightly. "I heard that...quiet a shock you gave the poor lass," he chuckled having meet her several times. "She was my half-brothers mare for a time, had a rough time with humans and all though," he murmered, lost in thought for a time before snapping back to the younger, ice stallion. "You have my alliance and support...but I trust you to act as any leader should and not as those of lands such as the Gully," he murmered eyeing him sharply "if you change and act as they do...well I will be forced to act." "Remember that, it shall do you well."
