Name: Newfoundland
Species: Wolf only
Colours: White, with a black stripe down its spine.
Height: 34-38 inches shoulder height.
Basic History: These lovely wolves were moose hunters, but only survived as long as it took for their island to be populated. Then the humans chose to view them as cattle killers and a danger, and a bounty was placed on their furs. They were soon all but destroyed. However, a very few number of them managed to escape, and slipped aboard larger ships and boats. Thankfully, most newcomers and sailors mistook them for the dogs of passengers, and they managed to get away from humanity, using humanity.
Habitat:Coastal areas, preferably colder.
Quick Facts: Smart and dangerous when they choose to be, but usually more friendly and sociable.
Their litters consist of 2-5 pups, although occasionally they give birth to only one.
