Name: Southern Rocky
Species: Wolf only
Colours: Tending towards black, with dark grey and sometimes white.
Height: 24-30 inches shoulder height.
Basic History: The Southern Rocky mountain wolves were almost wiped out by humans, a relatively short history with man. Some did manage to escape the intended destruction, and fled beyond their mountains, and beyond those past, to a land untouched by man.
Habitat:Mountains, and colder regions.
Quick Facts: Not much is known of these species. However, they're related closely to grey wolves, and often interbred with them. Their litters are from 2-3 pups large, though they can have as many as 12.
