Name: Aegidienberger Species: Horse Colours: All Colors Height: 13-15hh Basic History: The Aegidienberger is a horse that originated from Germany. A man named Walter Feldmann bred the first Aegidienberger in 1994. His goal was to create a more elegant horse that is suited for the climate of Central Europe. To produce this, he crossed a Peruvian Paso and an Icelandic horse together. The end product Aegidienberger has 62.5% Icelandic bloodlines and 37.5% Peruvian Paso blood in it. The breed was bred to be gaited and be for their hardiness. Habitat: They are small and hardy enough to navigate through any difficult climate. They are naturally suited for the valleys and mountains though. Quick Facts: There have never been more than 100 Aegidienbergers in the world at one time. Since the inception of the stud book, the breed has decreased. They can perform a natural gait called the tolt. Link to more info: iceryder.net/aegidienberger.htmlPicture:
